Its so unfair ppl say wod was bad. It was a master piece and its my all time favorit expansion. The questing with objectives was so fun and when i did quests and an item procc from uncommon to rare gave me a big happy smile. I loved end cinematic in all zones, only time i quested entire questline in all zones. Sure, highmaul sucked ass... and im afraid that alot of ppl quitted there becuse i can be objective and say it sucked. But black rock foundery and hellfire citadel stands out as my all time funniest time in wow.
when i was in middle school, my mom (who played wow) used to play this and other of your videos while we ate breakfast. Now I'm preparing for college exams and still playing these videos. thank you for all the good memories. :)
WoD had a LOT of issues with it that made it annoying to deal with. I personally had a love-hate relationship with WoD. Wasn't a fan of how Blizzard delt with the Garrisons feature at all, and WoD still lacked quite a bit of content compared to the expansion packs before it. I will admit that the content it did have however, minus the garrisons, is some of the best in WoW. Daenor's Shadowmoon Valley and Spires of Arak are two of my favorite regions in all of WoW.
@@the_furry_inside_your_walls639 and that's a fucking fact. everything they kept and did, they did right. sadly we weren't able to see the full glory that WoD could have been
Warlord of Draenor will always carry such thoughtful memories for me. I know a lot of people criticize the expansion for it's lack of content, but at the time, I was neither a die hard raider, nor someone with as much as basic sense of criticism. I was a noob, barely 14 years old, I loved the story, the Garrison content, the graphics, the cinematics, the graphics, the music, oh, and the GRAPHICS. The whole escapism experience sky-rocketed for me with this expansion. And considering that at the time I used to suffer from a pretty depressing home/family situation, I'm thankful for the good memories and the shelter that WoW provided.
The Village soundtrack is so beautiful, one of my absolute favourites from any expansion. Thanks for your efforts, they provide a wonderful backdrop for my work day!
I loved WoD. Great expansion for alts, zones (along with the music) were fantastic. Raids were probably the best I've ever had to experience in WoW. Highmaul was FANTASTIC (some might disagree here, I loved the Ogre theme). Some of the best experiences I've ever had in WoW hence why I've kept my main from that expansion still level 100. Great times...
One of the best things about the zones in WoD were the fact most of them had counterparts in BC already, making those older zones even scarier and cooler too. after questing in talador, i'll never look at terrokar forest the same.
In terms of lore, continuity and some game mechanics (yes naval missions, I'm looking at you!), WoD wasn't a very good expansion, BUT if we step continuity and some mechanics aside, WoD had an amazing story and character developement. And the zones, OH MY GOD!! Such an incredible display!! They were (and still are) a perfect assemble of landscape, enviroment and background music. The music fits just perfectly with the background of the zone. You can feel the dangers of Gorgrond in the music, you can sense the pain of war mixed with hope in Talador; and Nagrand, I've always loved Nagrand, but the Draenor version is just out of league. It's really a shame that some game decisions made in this expansion turned it in one of the less favorite expansions.
@@oguzhant6279 Wow is still extremely popular with 7-8 million players according to the latest stats. People here are acting like it's some long lost game.
It's very unfortunate that Warlords Of Draenor died in development hell. They had so much cool stuff planned and the visuals and music was outstanding.
Thank you! I appreciate it. It takes an unreasonably long time to shoot everything the way I want to, so I'm glad people notice. :) (admittedly, it's all secondary to the music, but still)
The most underrated WoW expansion by far. It's actually tied with MoP as my favorite ever. People complaining about there being nothing to do are simply crazy. Yes it was a different WoW than we had experienced in the past, but man it was refreshing as hell, especially compared to what we've seen since.
amazing, man i do miss WoW but if i ever return like i’ve done before it just isn’t the same. i hope i can make another journey as beautiful as WoW has been. doubt it.. i love listening to this music to relax to
Best part of WoD is the aesthetic of Talador. If only they'd fleshed out the other zones besides Frostfire Ridge and Shadowmoon Valley and gave us the cool story with the blood knights they mentioned at Blizzcon.
this, and frostfire ridge. the character themes were something else. you know that really epic feeling you get when you hear some kick-ass music? i got that with Grommash Hellscream's theme.
@@MrDoYouKnowMe2211 I loved Shadowmoon Valley and Spires of Arak too. Especially Spires of Arak. That place really gives you an idea of the tragedy of the Arakkoan.
When I've heard music of this expansion for the first time, I thought I was listening to completely another OST. It's so different a yet so beautiful. I mean ... when you see the trailer for this expansion and than you hear this music ... it's such a contrast. But it certainly is one of my most favorite WoW soundtrack.
The expansion was prob not the best one out there (ofc lol) but the lvling and feel of the zones was really good, Talador wasnt the best in my opinion (2 much iron horde) but was pretty decent, just like this Video. Thank you
I'm still hoping for, one day, the creation of a pure in-Draenor roleplay taking place after the events of WoD I mean its the biggest opportunity There are around 35 years of void ! We have Mag'har orcs ! Draenei ! We now have potions to talk between factions ! It would be awesome to start something like that !
The whole expansion was a massive case of missed oportunity and wasted potential. There was so, SO much they could've done with it. Instead, they made it a prepatch for Legion. Don't get me wrong, I liked Legion a lot, but WoD could've been that and so much more.
Maybe, this extension was not the best. I remember how much I was disappointed by WoD. however, there is one thing that has never disappointed me when i play WoW : the music. there is not a single extension where the music has not been of excellent quality.
Thank you for this remake! Such an underrated zone in an almost forgotten expansion with one of the best soundtracks in the game.
i kinda like WoD. despite the lack of content...
well said 100% agree

how can someone dislike this piece of art? WoD had amazing music and art design. one of the best zones of WoW.
I see no dislike though. Yet at least xD

I was quite saddened that they chose not to include Farahlon just because they didn't feel it matched the overall storyline...
