I'm just watching your video and I hear you say about not getting enough sleep, you both need some organic castor oil. Has crazy health benefits also but I put it on before bed and I sleep all night same with my daughter and partner. It's the elixir seriously. It also leave your skin amazing like you have had a facial 💚

As far as we all know, you only live once. So go do what u want to do. Yes it may be a bit scary at first and u may face many setbacks but that’s all part of the journey. I believe that whatever u do in life, it’ll always come right in the end.
I’m a 54 year old single woman, my healths so bad that if I was a horse, I’d of been dispatched to the great barn in the sky by now. I lost my home a year and a half ago. Spent 3 months in a tent during winter then managed to move into a caravan. I don’t even drive 😂 just have friends move me as and when. But honestly, this is the happiest, most peaceful I’ve ever felt. So much so, that I don’t want a house. My next plan is a campervan. Anyway, go for it, chase ur dreams while u still can and enjoy every second. Best wishes ❤

Unasked for advice from a long-term wild car camper (Citroen Picasso). Late is good but early before 6am on the road and out in highly touristic areas like your in is essential. Pack the sleeping bags and everything else away. You've got too much stuff, lose all but what is essential, really essential., you look like campers, you will get pinged. Have your coffee and cook your meals not where you intend to sleep. Keep off the beach areas (use as day accommodation) , go mountains, hill and hinterland. Find your overnight spot by 3pm, but don't use it until after dark when the authorities are busy elsewhere in the tourist areas. Boat ramps, sports fields parking areas and industrial estates are your friend. NEVER pollute, leave each spot cleaner than when you arrived. More to come....

I would add that deliberately going to places that are "notorious for being really strict with campervans" is just asking for trouble. So far it looks like they are just trying to do everything in their power to get caught. You can camp all over Europe without having to stop anywhere wild camping is illegal so going straight to Ibiza just makes me scream "what did you think would happen?". When I was travelling round Europe last year I knew Switzerland didn't like wild campers for example, so I didn't wild camp in Switzerland. I sorted an itinerary which meant I only ever wild camped across the border in Austria or France and if I did have to stay overnight in Switzerland I would have just booked a campsite,.
Looking at both sides of the coin, in extremely touristy places, residents are sick & tired of being overrun by visitors who do not abide by their cities rules & regulations, making daily existence a real pain. I know, I would really hate it, if my peace, security & serenity in my own town & residence is toss into chaos.
I agree completely. That's why I think it's important these guys show us how it CAN be done😊
@@fromtheblonx Oh I’m sure it can be done; but to always be in fear of being caught, fined and punished, wherever you traveled to, just to get a “free night’s” sleep, is way too exhausting for anyone not to mention what it does to your mental wellbeing long term. And if you truly look at their faces, it’s beginning to show. I really feel for them.
@@kismet2354i see your point re i live in a touristic area in India. When there is city tourism from Mumbai, Bangalore, Kerala etc I can't help but hate where I live cos the tourists throw glass bottles on the beach and also do much worse. And their behavior is awful. (Not talking about all tourists from those places as one can not generalise. Nice people from those areas also visit. ) When the foreigner tourism is here the place is Amazing. They have much better ideas about behaviour, consideration, rubbish disposal, keeping down the noise after a certain time etc. In terms of Liam and Janines car camping. It's adventurous, getting caught/not getting caught is part and parcel of the adventure and they are certainly not nuisance visitors. They are just living out their adventure and thats brilliantly positive ❤

If we get no sleep, you will see it on us...there have been many nights where sleep has been difficult due to ferries, getting used to the car camping, people screaming & smashing stuff up outside in the middle of the night...but you know all this as we have shown you on the videos ❤
The bag on your roof , screams , were camping in the car , lots of good things to steal , and police , come fine us for car camping .⛺ otherwise your rig is stealthy , and unassuming .

I hear you! But we have weighed up pros and cons and it's such a handy part of car camping, it's worth the risk

My memories when living in Ibiza 60 years ago are beautiful beaches, lizards on white walls, donkeys, taxis as no cars, and just a few houses which we lived in. I wouldn't like to see how it is now and happy you enjoyed it 😊💕

I’m glad you mentioned Carl Cox, I couldn’t possibly count the amount of times I’ve danced to him working the decks. I’ve been nutted many many many times in disused warehouses and the like rocking out to his music. A true true legend of the rave scene, I’ll forever burn a candle for the best times of my life that that outstanding human being gave me. He’s so down to earth as well, he used to chat to us when he pulled up outside. God bless Carl Cox 😎😎😎😎

Suggest you hide the roof bag on front seat at night. Maybe in daytime also when leaving the car take bag off roof as its a give away your touring and camping.💚

I think a wind deflector is used to allow air to flow into the car when driving without the draft… it’s not meant to be a security device as the plastics flimsy..
So many people use it for the latter, it's a bonus as you say

Just back from our third holiday in Ibiza in 12 months, can't get enough of it! We stayed in Playa Es Figueral this time and we have stayed in Portinanx, St Eululia and Es Canna Thanks for this content it has been very informative as we are considering buying a camper van when I retire in the not too distant future to spend more time in Ibiza. We did see a camping site with camper vans in Es Canna which got us thinking about if it is possible to do it without wild camping. Watched your channel for some time now and love it. Thank you.
Yes Es Canna takes vans, but unfortunately at a high price. The upside is it's right on the beach ⛱️

As others have said, maybe put the roofbag in the car at night and also cover your window blinds with black material on the outside. The silver blinds make really obvious that you are car camping. Hope you really enjoy your time in Ibiza. X

I find with years of car camping the most important thing is to have a comfy bed, the cooker and all that stuff goes under the bed at night, I always have wind deflectors , even here in Scotland :) think I would find camp sites on that island. Ive only wild camped walking with a tent on those islands and you can do it no probs aa nowhere near roads. Glad your having fun and love the dog, looks like my Eddie the dog

@ThoseHappyDays yes it was literally a lobby room, always amazing to see how it's still progressing through the years. Many of my favourite DJs have played there. I recommend a visit to Cafe del Mar too, fabulous vibes, atmosphere and music. Love you guys, you rock ❤️

I was there whilst the medieval festival was on a few years ago. It was brilliant. The old town is amazing (I like history so it was perfect for me).
Portinax is beautiful. Another friend has a hostel in Cap Negret: Hostal restaurante la Torre. My sister had her wedding reception there. Try and stop for a drink there. The view is amazing. The hostal is beautiful. Lots of famous people have stayed there including Kylie. The rooms used to be very boho. I haven’t been for a while, but it can’t have changed that much. So many beautiful beaches in Ibiza. Enjoy every second. I’m wishing I could be there too. Stay safe and happy travels xx

In this modern generation we are brought up to put down our roots. Sometimes I think we all need to wake up and say sod life I am just going off on a nice long walk to see where it takes me. Would I be missed may be by my mum 😊

35 euros! Wow - we have a transit size camper and it was £164 return from Valencia! Wild camping is easy enough if you stay out of the towns(we walked in, took 30 mins) and as you say, get there late and leave fairly early. Hope you’re having fun, we did 😊

Look for an UBC powered wireless fan. Charge it up and use anywhere. I have one abuse at night when I'm sleeping. Full charge lasts overnight into morning. Not cold air but it does provide enough coolness.

Hi this video brought back memories I lived in Santa Eularia and worked for an English builder for 2 summers in 1975 and 77 I used to earn about £40 a week which paid my rent food and to go out every night! Can't do that now. Things have changed since I was there but if you think how far Ibiza has come at the end of WW11 it was the poorest place in Europe.
Wow since the war so much has happened there with the hippies and the ravers
Hi and Hare Krishna! I lived in Ibiza in the early 70's. So you should try a drink called Horchata de Chufa. Best at the port near to the ferries. Besides that you should go to Salinas. There's a nice little spot called La Canal. There's a Pension there called Mar Y Sal where I used to stay. You can overnight in their car park or nearby. Incidentally, I wild camp too in a motorhome. I love Norway! Enjoy!
