Don’t be sad. One door closes and another one opens. Having a reset and focussing on what will take you forwards is good for us. Life is too short to look back, onwards and upwards for the next chapter. Good luck with the sale ❤
If there is one thing it’s taken me 64 years to learn is that life is a constant lesson in letting go of what needs to be let go of. Life is always calling us to new experiences and new learning. Namaste to you two for having that courage 🙏🏼💫
Yes at 62 years I completely get where you’re coming from and time starts to become too precious to waste on a life that no longer brings joy. Well done. Namaste ☘️
EVERY day is a school day. We've been full-time at 70 years young in our LWB self-converted Sprinter. Always learning, ALWAYS FREE. Health is our first currency, and we are in control of the exchange rates, and we spend it joyfully. Trusting you get a great price for Morgan, and wish you all the very best in your next unfolding chapter...Best wishes. Tony and Carolyn...We are Wheely Living! :)
Heavy news that Liam mate, I hope you both get your money back for the last engine you had fitted. You both are very kind, sensible and patient people. I would definitely not have acted in that way. I couldnt imagine living a life of freedom like you both do, hats off to you both I think it’s a very brave move to live your life the way you both do. I would not have them same type of guts to do the same. I only started watching your channel because of the Morgan build, but I am subscribed and looking forward to your next adventure. Good luck to you both.
I hate that the stress of a Citroen letting you down so badly has forced your hand to chuck it in. I messaged you ages back and had a Citroen C4 let me down badly when I worked over an hour away and then went through redundancy shortly thereafter losing all my savings repairing a car. Your journey reminded me of such difficult times which we do get through. I think you are fabulous and I wish you well guys.
It's not that it's a Citroen, it's that it's a Fiat platform. The Ducato, Boxer, Relay, Movano and the Nissan thing are all built on the Fiat platform and are identical under the skin. Fiat build quality has always been s h i t since time began. All the oily bits are either made of plastic or chocolate and they all break regularly. My own Relay has cost me thousands and it wasn't even 6 years old when I got shut of it. The Fiat based ones are (comparatively) cheap for a reason. If you want a MH or PVC camper that's going to be reasonably reliable and last then it needs to be a Sprinter or an Iveco. Forget the Transits as most of those are on the wet cambelt which disintegrates and destroys the engine. But tbh all modern diesels are massive money pits now with the predictable EGR, DPF, injector, DMF and ad-blue issues costing thousands to sort. When people decide to go full-timing and "save money" by buying a PVC or MH to live in, virtually nobody pays any attention to the front where the oily bits are and just hope that it'll be reliable. They only care for what the middle and back looks like. Many find out the hard way that their big plans to save money by living in a van are not realised and in fact cost them many thousands MORE than what it would have costed to keep renting their previous house, once they factor in the insurance cost and the thousands in repairs and maintenance, but you'll rarely see this mentioned by any of the van-life influencers on here.
I knew it! So sad but completely understandable. I know that you will make a success of your next chapter and I will follow you with interest. BTW I gave up alcohol for Lent. Looking forward to a cocktail on Sunday ❤🎉
Last comment… Ha! Robert Shaw (one of the actors in Jaws) was my doctors brother. Dr. Shaw is very old but very healthy and still alive and active in the community.
Ive followed your journey for the last couple of years and must admit its been absolutely amazing and a pleasure to watch. That was my mrs that got the Tesco staff to wind you up in the car park 🤣 wish you all the best and look forward to the new adventures 👌
Well done guys, big decision indeed but I think it's definitely the right one. Seeing the difference between your UK vanlife videos with Morgan troubles and the joy and excitement you had travelling in India, I had a feeling that it was going to be time to say bye to Morgan. Fingers crossed you get him sold soon and can move on to the next adventures! Exciting times!
Hope the sale of Morgan goes well, such a fabulous van and is beautiful inside and out. The next person is very lucky to inherit Morgan. Good luck with the next journey both of you ❤️
My family lived in seafood in 70's we then moved to Germany. For many years We kept a small place across the road from beach near rugby field. I just remember waves going over house having to watch out for pebbles. The only photo I have is us parking near beachy head in our new orange vw bus. Loved seafood
And just as you were to announce your plans... 🥁 drum roll... the adverts kicked in 😮.. oh me nerves 😂 When 1 door closes another 1 opens.. cant wait to see what lies ahead for you, sure you have each other so it'll all be good ❤ x x
Ah so sad to hear you're giving up Morgan, brought a tear to my eye omg 😪 sure your life will still be full of fun adventures. Wishing you both a happy next chapter and can't wait to see what you've got planned. 😊 ❤
Have you thought about sueing the company that didnt install the engine properly not just for the mechanical costs but sue them for things like you accomodation costs and other expenses that resulted
I can tell how right this decision feels for you both because you sound grateful for what he's been part of, but you are really ready to let Morgan go. You are becoming jedi masters at not allowing anything to have a hold over your freedom and I love that about you! As always, interested to hear whats happening next and, selfishly, I'm hoping you are going to take us somewhere I've never seen before so I can experience it alongside you! Good luck guys ❤
Hi. We are a couple who have live on the road since the 80s and are in our mid 50s. We are still in the dark ages compared to you. We still run on lead batteries. We have converted to led lights and entertainment etc. We still have a wood burner cause they are free. It is amazing to see how things have changed. We would of loved to take Morgan on but we only have £1500 for our next home. Our present home needs too much welding to keep it going and we are looking for a replacement by the end of April as that when we run out of all legalities. We will be all right. Always have been. The travelling community is the best in the world. We are a family that’s thicker than blood. We just hope you both get to experience a bit of what I’m talking about because you haven’t even touched the sides yet. There is a whole world out there and what you are really missing is closer than you think. I hope you both get to understand what I am saying and have a wonderful time finding it. We are all really excepting and tolerant. I would not live my life any other way even if I was given the chance to do it all again. I have no regrets and loads of amazing memories. I love to see you two find your own. Just keep going with our love.
It's not sad really it's an opening to another chapter of your lives, memories will always be enjoyed,he came at the right time and departed on his journey as well.Time for you both to embrace the next part of your journey, the experiences you have both enjoyed and shared with us all,I look forward as well to seeing and being on this with you both.Much love, safe and happy travels to you both
East Street in Brighton near the pier Was the filming location for quadrophania 1979 where they had the riot. Also the famous back Ally scene with. Phil Daniels and Leslie ash.(Jimmy & steph.)😂🇬🇧 🏴
"We're not moving into a house or anything like that". Had us worried there 😂 Good luck in your future endeavours. We'll be following you eagerly; the vans brought us here, but it's you two lovely people who keep us watching. Good luck. ❤
Choc cornflake tip you might like to try, and I hope I’m remembering this right… Melt a little golden syrup and butter (if you eat butter… if not, coconut oil might make a good alternative if you add a pinch of salt to it), then mix with the corn flakes. Might be kinder to your teeth 😂
@@ThoseHappyDaysAlso, given what you said about the corn flakes, might be a good idea to crush them a little so the pieces are smaller? I love Avebury. Silbury Hill is my spiritual home ✨🫶🏻✨
We always only made chocolate rice crispies... and put a higher ratio of crispies to choc than you had ..I think that's why they don't turn out so hard..
It’s sad seeing Morgan go but I’m really excited to see what’s coming. “Knowing” you, it’s going to be a blindingly excellent adventure. I hope the sale goes really well.
Hi Liam and Janine where does this leave the channel and your home if you don’t have Morgan? Wherever this journey is going then I am going with you, whatever you bring to us next we look forward to it xx
is it time for a boat... Ula and Josh are selling there's on their channel, I think you would love it!! slower paced but still travelling and more reliable than a van
A wise decision in my view. As you say, it's the best time to let Morgan go, now that he's roadworthy - has a 12 mth guarantee, MOT etc. - peace of mind for you and for those taking him on. Always best to 'leave on a high'. Looking forward to your next adventures, Liam and Janine. Sending my Best.
Thanks guys, they say a change is as good as a holiday ? Who knows , just like the roller coaster, you have your ups and downs, thanks for giving us a snapshot of your travels, letting us hitch a ride with you these last few years its been fun ,as I am sure the next years will be, but life is not a soap opera, but this is the life of our DAYS, Happy trails.👍
Hi guys it was so lovely to meet you both in Tesco's carpark, you were so sympathetic & took the time to listen to me rambling on 🙈 sorry to hear your selling Morgan, looking forward to watching a new chapter unfold in your lives, good luck & best wishes for the future lots of love Karen & Quazi ❤❤xxxxxxx
So uplifting from you guys to remain positive been a tricky few months we’ve only been following for a few months great people and you deserve true happiness and good vibes on your next chapter and we’ll hang out with you for sure 💯 keep on being you 🫶
We did van life for 2 years 2011-13, but we are both 20 years older than you. We ended up both being too old and unwell to continue and had to very reluctantly give up our Elnagh Slim 3. We both wish you all the best for your future travels and look forward to seeing the next stage of your travels... Always follow your heart and see as much as you can while you can!
March 27 2024 Maryland, USA: All your travels I have enjoyed whether in Pete or Morgan looking forward to your next journey. With all your decisions it alwaays difficult to part. You both have put so much love in Morgan. Hoping the next owners are so appreciative of all that you have put into Morgan. Cheers Morgan.
It is sad news but I'm certain it will lead onto happier times for you and I will keep watching as long as you keep making videos. Huge hugs to you both xx
Totally understand your selling Morgan. Love that your first priority is freedom, I applaud that. Go you guys! Life is adventure, and so pleased to hear that you're embarking on another adventure.
It is the right thing to do - you need to do what you need to do. You will have many followers that will continue to watch the channel. Good luck for the future and tale care. ❤❤
I've followed both of you for three years & have seen all the up's & downs , I had mentioned a new engine sometime ago but it is what it is & I'm really pleased that you are moving on to new avenues , there's a growing number of people buying sea vessels , their almost 100% self sufficient with wind & sola ,sea water purifiers & fishing for their meals , more fish then they can eat , as I understand , some grow vegetables on board too , I speak to some of these boat owners on two way radio communication as that's what I do , sea life seems the future of a hassle free life , just anchor down around the coastline anywhere , it would be a wonderful life rest assured , the boat owners work online on board for their living , there are sea vessels for sale & there's amazing space for the money , cheaper then a van . I live in Brighton & I hope that you enjoyed your visit . Wishing you both every success for the future . Julian .
I recognised the parking spot immediately in Brighton..One of the only spots I know close to the pier etc where you can park a big van. I gave up a working luton van after 13 years, I was so attached to it. But once you let go it is not so bad, you enter a new chapter. You guys are so watchable, and whatever you do you will have a large following. I look forward to your future adventures

Looking forward to watching the next chapter in your onward adventures…. You guys always stay so positive even when the chips are down. I will certainly miss seeing Morgan and you guys on ( the Sussex ) seafront though. Seeing the big green mean machine rock up after each adventure would always give my heart a lift. Best of luck to you both. 🥂
How wonderful that you are entering a new chapter, perfect timing with your decision too, it being Spring equinox! Im 70 and have owned a motorhome and a converted ambulance, i would absolutely love to own Morgan. Sadly, Im not sure i could afford him😢. Whoever, buys him will, im sure, be very very lucky. ❤ Wishing you so many blessings for your onward journey. I shall look forward to keeping up with it all. ❤
What ever you both decide to do no on your next adventure I’m 100% with will still be here watching your channel good luck to you both Gary Liverpool xx
I think that's the right decision, provided the new owners don't drive Morgan too hard, and if they reduce the weight significantly, they should have a wonderful van to enjoy living in .
Just FYI Lent officially finishes on Holy Thursday, the 28th March this year. Today in Australia, and soon to be today in the UK. Eat those yummy chocolates both of you! 😊
We feel so lucky to have met you both and Morgan. All of us are wishing you both lots of luck in your new adventures, we will always watch and enjoy your blogs, really can’t wait to follow your future adventures. Sending lots of love and big hugs to you both. 🤗🤗
Best of luck with your new endeavors! Loved and highly enjoyed your UK vanlife videos. Just happy you continue sharing your adventures on UA-cam and we get to follow you along.

This decision makes a lot of sense and I'm so excited to see what you both have planned next. I bet it was far from an easy decision to make, but it looks like you had a lovely send off with Morgan in the perfect location. Good luck with the sale, I look forward to watching the next adventure.

I think that's the right decision, provided the new owners don't drive Morgan too hard, and if they reduce the weight significantly, they should have a wonderful van to enjoy living in .
