The biggest unfixable issue they had was the food shortage caused by failed crops, which couldn't be fixed without the help of Hot Springs. I imagine the food shortage was even worse because the Great Storm probably killed 99% of the remaining non-human frostland creatures (in one of the exploration events, your scout finds a dead family of polar bears in a cave who couldnt survive the great storm) so there was nothing to hunt and the only fresh food available could be grown in the hothouses.

Commentaries are extremely unlikely because I'n not a good speaker. No one would be interested in listening to weird mumbling or cringey voice acting
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 It just makes it a bit harder to follow your actions, especially when you click things too fast :P
Also, I get that many people don't like/prefer using mics, myself included, just saying it would really help us understand your way of thinking/planning things out if you ever decided to do it.
@@JiniLera I might consider recording some guides eventually, but I can't promise anything. I have a full time job and barely two hours a day to make videos

Can someone please tell me what the deal is with the copious numbr of roads? Is it an inside joke that you have to roleplay as the first Captain if Winterhome?
Super playthrough, the only ask for author is to enable cursor while playing becouse it makes track of steps easier to follow :)
Just in case anybody struggles with people getting gravely ill and dying JUST before infirmary is built/researched on day 5:
Ask new london to enact a law for you via the administration center. The gravely ill will go to the medical post, but will move over to the infirmary once done (the gravely ill will not have time to get amputated).
I tried to follow your strategy to the minute detail, but always ended up with gravely ill when you seemed ok? Only issue now is that I have to wait a bit longer for the favour to go up again, so that I can ask for more raw food (nobody died, but people were starving for a while).
Thank you for the guide!
You can tank the gravely ill by feeding them and keep them heated or in the posts with the law, untill you ge t infirmary though its a priority also they take has long has a normal person on a post to he al
I've been waiting for the next scenario :D
By the way, most of the people are freezing in Frostpunkt, due to placing themselves in cold sinks
Idk how many times did you practiced. But man this is amazing
This exact scenario I've recorded from the third try
hello nikolas! just wanted to remember that frostpunk 2 beta is avaliable. I really want to see how your city is going to be in the new game, now that the objective isnt exactly survive, but prosper. Quick tip: save before exploring the three lakes on the white desert (frostpunk 2)
Thank you for the tip - will definitely use it when I get to that place :D
Someday we'll get there, I'm sure
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 the city must not fall
@@wesley_1234 Keep me informed
Have you thought about adding commentary to your videos? Would be great to hear your process.
I have. But I am not much of a talker to be honest, so decided not to
Waiting for Frostpunk2 speed run anytime soon. 😂
I hope you're doing alright.
Some day I hope to be back)
can make a video about frostpunk tips? and will u play frostpunk 2?
If you listen carefully of your settlement. You could hear what your dweller are saying
This was great! What's the next scenario on the agenda?
Don't forced workshifts have a random chance of killing a person working on them? Did he just hope no one would die?
Can you make a tutorial of how to manage the city i mean with buildings and streets and thank yoh for good content
intresting how fast you can do stuff i need like 10x more time to finish this in a hellish state on difficulty hard
We need him to return
will you post same stuff for frostpunk 2, when it comes out? I love these perfect playthroughs
Someday I definately will. Just stay tuned and check the channel one or two times a year
Hi, thanks for that amazing video. Can you please explain what's the purpose of destroying the beacon and cancel the destruction?
Which timing?
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 i don't find it anymore. I guess you wanted to move it and decided not too, since the roads where ready.
@@strobocop1115 Probably so. I've tested some different strategies and one of them included dismantling the beacon.
The only thing I find lacking is the lack of any kind off explanation 🤔
We can still learn of it, of course, but not so deeply. Or maybe I'm lazy 🙄
Still... Why did he does some of the things. Why this choice and not another. What game mechanics is behind it.
It's incredible and interesting to see... Yet give very little help to make us better player. Or more, better understand the game.
Still, that remains pretty awe inspiring to look at 👍
You make me look so dumb when I’m just on hard difficulty I always run out of food before I can get to the hot springs so maybe I shouldn’t get the survivors until after the hot springs because now they seem like a trap. 😢
Honestly, I believe they kinda are. In FP you usually want as many people as possible ASAP, but here they seem to played with that urge to a certain degree
have you any furthur plans on Frostpunk, or are you to waiting till Frostpunk 2 is coming out?.
Both. Just don't have time to make videos at the moment, so all the work has been ceased
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 places you on 24 hour emergency shift
Is it possible to have a deathless run on survivor mode? To do so much micromanagement without pause could drive me crazy.
Please do other scenarios!
Please do a video about Refugges and Arks. I will really appreciate it because Im tring to do all achiegments but without your help it is imposible
I managed to do arks once without anyone dying i was just dissatisfied nothing on the end, i think noone died, i only can't do on the edge and the endless maps
Ah some scenarios 1 ir 2 i didn't do now that i think about it but on the edge and endurance is hardest i think
Nice video. Just a question, why do you take out employee from all places serve night and put them back in the morning?
To sort out all the sick people. When you place unemployed people to a station the healthy ones are assigned first. Thus I can prioritize which post will be fully staffed and which will have missing workers due to sickness.
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 Got it. thanks a lot
Thoughts about Frostpunk 2???
Well... It should be released at some point I guess)
I'm not a hyping person and prefer to study things after they come out. Like to be surprised.
Are u going to do a FP2 playthrough like this?
I know it's super late but I've picked up Frostpunk recently to git gud before the second game is out, and I got questions. Probably the biggest one is how you were able to run a 24-hour shift in a workshop as there's a script to kill off an engineer as soon as you do it?
18:45 what was that tic tac toe? i thought that was just taking out the sick, but i see you are doing more than just that.
Could you make video of Crags in Endurance mode and Extreme with no deaths?
Some day... Eventually...
Plan on doing frostpunk 2 when it comes out?
WHO IS THIS DUDE. HOW
I hop eyou brought even Frostpunk 2 and maybe the DLC Lost Arks *_*
P.S. maybe you will be interested in a game called Ixion?! is a Frostpunk in SPAAAAAACEEEEEE
Well, thank you, I've checked it and now I am interested. Don't know when I'll be able to play, but definitely gonna try
I wonder why are you always dismantling and pausing the cookhouse :D
Hm, what does 1916 means?
Or we will play as united territories of new London in frostpunk 2?
Funny enough that I rewatched this video, and still can't get what 1916 mean.
Probably on the next year I will know, when frostpunk 2 releases
Ze oil camrade
wait wut... it took me like 8 hours to finish this on easy mode.
How are Steam Cores even made?
They always say they are impossible to make...
When will they be manufacturable?
Probably you need some specific metal only new london has the schemes for?
A bit hard to ficus on making them when you are "dying"
Will you cover Frostpunk 2 as well?
When do you think you might be able to make more videos
Zero idea. As soon as my life will become less chaotic and stressful. For now I just don't have enough inspiration and self-discipline to create. Sinking in more basic survival issues.
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 okay have a great day
