The Last Autumn scenario on extreme difficulty. Fully upgraded generator with no flaws, finished before the freeze. No deaths, minimum strikes. Engineer path, no harsh supervision (I have NO IDEA why they told at the end that there was censorship to be honest).
Frostpunk: The Fall of Winterhome, Extreme, Deathless, Full Dreadnought

A New Home scenario on extreme difficulty. No child labour, no deaths (even scripted ones). Almost utopian, carefully planned city with minimum crunches. No line crossing, Order path.
im so glad to have watched this playthrough. i still havent seen a better city layout which is early game friendly while having an efficient house to arena/tower ratio. is there an updated design to this?
Not updated, just different. there aren't many things that can be changed in this specific layout
Tell me you have OCD without telling me. Undeniably the most impressive and artistic micro management I've seen in any video game, great job. Finished my first playthrough last night and this is the video I pressed to watch to see what I could've done better (let's not talk about it).
How much OCD I have? I find this video full of mistakes I could have done better. It is soooo far from what I originally intended, I was very hesitant to even post it at all back then. Congrats on your playthrough. How did it went?
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 It was hard I used way less tech and I was always running out. Seeing you bypassing sawmills and gathering posts (I literally put gathering posts on every small deposit) I think I'm going to give it a second run before moving to the DLCs copying as many steps as I can. But everyone was obedient so all good! :)
@@MightyPatriot Skipping sawmill was a risky but planned step. If you remember, I skipped ironworks even harder :D If you have any additional questions or something about tactics - feel free to ask, I'll be glad to help
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 Thank you I'll keep that in mind. There are many takes on how to go on youtube so far I liked yours the most. Again great video! :)
Have you ever tryed to imagine how it might have been scary to the new londoners have survived to their first whiteout? Just thinking. . .
Well, in my city probably little less, since we nailed it and felt rather comfy.
I just started 2 days ago. City building was never my type of thing until I played this. Holy shit 3 hours will go by like it’s nothing and I am dead ass willing to watch you do it so I can take hints. Thank you for your time brother even if you don’t see this. One hell of a game
How do you not have people randomly dying from "lack of treatment"? I always lose at least 6 people when doing this when I have infirmary space
Oh, it took me a while to figure out. basically, the positioning of Infirmaries matters. This is why I have three separated blocks of them, so they are evenly spread out throughout the city. Sometimes people die because they just don't have enough time to march all the way physically.
@@dr.nikolasivory8193 Good to know thanks man.
It also seems like sometimes, people don't walk towards the nearest infirmary. I watched one of ddrjakes frostpunk streams and that seems to be the case, though I don't remember what scenario that was.
@@silverblade2871 They are also sometimes confused by care house. And walk there instead of other establishments. Even if there is space
Is the FP2 expected?
Not in the near future, that's for sure
@dr.nikolasivory8193 sad to hear that, but we will be waiting
@@ОлександрВеличко-с4л I hope one day we will complete the series. I would want that, especially since it's like half finished and left frozen.
I barely understand what is happening with the layouts. I need like, this video, but with commentary.
Just completed this on normal for the first time, got the full generator, but forgot to stockpile food and didn't make enough coal/kilns. So the last 5 days had us eat 39 people, +16 got killed by bears. My worst playthrough yet death-wise. But still glad I managed to build the whole thing. Doing this on Extreme sounds insane, and 2 HOURS? Took me ~11
Awesome gameplay! And you build everything beautifully in place.
Epic gameplay,i've never seen better than this just woow...Its psychopathic
Maybe you got flagged for censorship when you confiscated the porn from the workers? Lol
[bro making chudjak face] Winterhome will fall -None must die
The entitlement of the people in this game should be lowered, I dont think in case of this kind of dystopian setting people will be so much wanting or expecting either, would they?
Frostpunk two just released. We need you back doctor.
Unfortunately it is quite soulless. I didn't know how good I had it.
-90? Perfect time to open a pub
What did you do,to get deathless gameplay in Frostpunk? I have this game for two years, and i still can't get deathless gameplay.
As much as I've been enjoying watching you build these towns, if you could slow down a *little* bit on the text parts so at least pausing normally allows one to read them fully, it would be appreciated. You blitz through them to fast, sometimes just hitting pause isn't enough to read them, and trying to go back is difficult with videos of this size on UA-cam.
retuning to see a good deathless run
The idea of steampunk era, average London peasants, wearing just simple headscarves, just hanging out outside in -120 degree weather is mindblowing and hilarious. I'm looking at these people standing around doing nothing in weather that would instantly cause frostbite and thinking, 'Go INSIDE! What the heck is wrong with you people?!' xD
Are u going to do a FP2 playthrough like this?
Mm tesla power came back that’s cool
The two hungry guys continuously refusing to eat something when the 'facing starvation' mission was getting close to running out was driving me insane rofl. Amazing work!
Why’s he turn on overdrive so much at the beginning?
Overdrive rises your heat leavel WITHOUT consuming extra Coal. At night, around 23:00 to 05:00 the games gets "secretely" colder without changing the temperature in the top bar, you can check your houses to see it. Turning on Overdrive makes people don't get sick in the night. TLDR: Free heating during the night, less Sick people in the day after.
I expect a deathless gameplay from you in Frostpunk 2 Captain difficulty.
We need him to return
Got back into playing this game again, wanted to watch some videos to get some pointers again and found this absolute work of art. I was captivated from start to finish, your grid work and placements were amazing! You prepared for every possible event and had healthcare and housing for everyone. I learned more from watching this than playing the game. Truly one of the best Frostpunk vids I’ll ever watch. Hats off to you!
Canonicity: EVERYONE IS COOKED !!! MISERY AND SUFFERING !!! Reality: "I am the ultimate Captain with the PERFECT plan." Literally almost everyone survives, perfect captaincy honed through IEC training and Steam Core Temporal Warping. Makes me think of Last Spell where you are doomed to repeat the same events over and over as the Aeon to keep magic sealed away within yourself, or Into the Breach where you have to go through the infinite timelines the Vek are invading Earth in to stop them. You, Captain, or now Steward with Frostpunk II, are doomed to forever repeat building settlements... forever as the world stays cold and dying. A dimming sun? If the global electric circuit is true, the Sun powers all the planets around it. If the Sun "dies", then Frostpunk, no matter how hard you try, is doomed. No sun? No heat, no photons, no planetary energy. No active planetary core? No magnetic field. Death? Guaranteed. Sounds like more of a thing where they'd need to create artificial magnetic fields to keep space out, going the way of Tesla City or something. Heading out into space to mine the now dying planets in the solar system for its resources. Remember, with the death of the Sun all planetary activity ceases and now these planets are all glorified resources. But as we know in Frostpunk II, it's set 30 years into the future? So that must mean the dimming was just from the storms or something... Unless the star is slowly fading, and will last for several more generations before finally flickering into the void. The connection we as individuals have to our star also cannot be understated as we in a sense are also powered/affected by the Sun. There's only so much an infirmary can do before there's just no more nutrients. You could stripmine the solar system but in due time you'd have to find a way to leave as variety of food plummets, etc. Just me yapping. Frostpunk in space?! Spacenought? I could imagine different hazards like micrometeorites and such, but as with space it's a totally different genre. My imagination is getting a little too carried away.
i like to have your videos playing in the background
Frostpunk 2 needs more stuff like that opening. More personal pop-ups and cinematics, perhaps something where you can see the city burning or something. As DDRJake said, it wouldn't be good to just have Frostpunk 1.5, but some storytelling implements could certainly be improved. And definitely UI. Auugh, if they improved the UI it would be so much better as a city-builder. What do I know? Steamless, opinion rejected. I can't really say much just based on people's playthroughs.
I hardly beat normal difficulty and came to see your video. Wow! I like to try and beat the scenarios with the information as it goes, but this one seems to require a lot of planning and foresight. It was really pleasant to see the various stages of your city, as you carefully tried to save everyone (but those scientist who are still studying)
Seeing this vs the new one is a grave reminder of what was lost. THE PUBLISHERS MUST SURVIVE
Please come back, we need you 😂
