This is my kinda Gospel music. That foot stomping on beat and giving Jesus a good run because no one knows like the Father what he brought you out of. Sometimes I watch this video and praise and worship by myself! 💯💯💯💯❤️❤️❤️
Boy did she have beautiful chocolate skin & a velvet voice from heaven. This is on my daily Playlist... nothing but chills & fire in my bones! I could pick cotton in a decent mood if she were sanging. Not to belittle our oppression. But can you imagine? They had to sang to get through. Good God ahmighty.
I always Cry every time I hear this song; I mean straight balling; I can feel her every emotions while she’s singing this song!!!! The Beginning of This Song just hits me right in my heart!!!
When I'm having a really bad emotional moment, this is my go-to song. I have to remind myself "I know I've been changed. The angels in heaven SIGNED my name" Such a wonderful song. Such a wonderful analysis. Thank you Mr. Legrair!
The first note of this song stops you in your tracks every time you hear it. The power that she has, but the ability to make you believe that you can sound like that too singing her songs, is unmatched.
This is my Big Mama’s favorite gospel song. Thanks, for the reaction. My Big Mama and Ms Pace are no longer with us on earth, but this song continues to up lift me with memories of my beloved Big Mama.
It was almost like she was describing how 🥶 the water was with her voice I love when an artist bring realistic feelings into their music...I felt like I was in the water too
Oh my goodness! I loved LaShun & this is one of my favorites from her. The best lyric is when she says "I stepped in the water & the water was cold." Sends shivers down my spine everytime I hear it. Thanks bunches Jaron!!! #RestInPowerQueenPace
She is the QUEEN of Anointed soprano. No other gospel singer in the world can sing like her. LaShun was truly a rare gift in a class of her own. Her voice came straight from the throne room🙏🏾😇❤️ A voice to truly set the captives free from any yoke of bondage.
I love watching a professional admire and analyze another professional; aside from being allowed into your space to learn something new, it's a lift into a higher level of human connection. Divine. This one made me tear up a little. I don't know much about singing so thank you for helping me to appreciate it on levels I never knew about.
LaShun Pace is one of those singers that embodies truuuue GOSPEL! The essence and spirit of what Gospel's roots are to Black Americans! May she Rest In Peace and I know she's sangin' it to the fullest in God's heavenly choir!
When you think of gospel you think of leshaun Pace. Gospel singers have always been under appreciated because of entertainment value but we all know that origins of black music and culture is deeply rooted in gospel music
It’s exciting watching you get excited…I’ve gone out and bought several albums by folks you have covered! I can’t sing a lick but now I know why and when I listen I appreciate the work that’s put into singing a song! And much we take it for granted. Can you imagine a world without music? Your hard work at putting these videos together is very much appreciated too!
When I say God blessed this woman. I think I listen to her music more than some of the greats. She was so blessed and I am grateful I have ears to hear her sing.
I found out recently my mother, grandmother and aunt's trained with mother pace and the pace sisters and my grandmother was on the Michigan state choir. When i find the videos on UA-cam I can pick her voice out of the choir because of the "Pace Ping" she sang with.
Loved this! Lashan's soprano growl is unmatched! Please let Ahjah Wall's cover of 'Necessary' Be NEXT Thank you for sharing your expertise with us and showcasing your gifted voice as well💙
I love to hear singers that are on stage and not necessarily trying to prove that they can sing, but they just go out and minister. Who also was like that was Mahalia Jackson.
I remember hearing this song on the gospel radio as a little kid heading to granny's house. I thought I Iove her voice and this song, she definitely could sing great soprano vocalist.
One of my favorite gospel songs!! 🙌🏽 Did you hear those N's planted methodically to help her vocally bounce up and down like a yoyo while staying on pitch? That's also genius in the songwriting. Great vid! 👍🏽
H sound make a lot of the consonants sound more full so it won’t get lost in the diction of pronouncing the words. A lot trained vocalist do that so she worked on her craft as you can see her amazing voice ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
JARON....you gonna make me come see about you. I said it once. It's on my transformation bucket list. I'm tired of muting my voice. This is what I grew up on Clark Sisters, Karen Clark-Sheard LaShun Pace, Kim Burrell, Whitney Houston, ha ha Arithmics, ebony and ivory, Tears for Fears Bonnie Rait, Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin Mary Mary, Be Be Ce Ce Winans, Yolanda Adams. lort who else lol...that good old spiritual baptist...thank you so much...oh wait don't forget Lisa Lisa and cult jam, Tony Tony, Guy ok that's it.
Chile, they gots ta be passed out in the audience and I know you caught the holy ghost while trying to do this video!!!! Had me swaying back and forth!!!!! #SheBettaSannnngggg
Lashun Pace is considered to be a Super Suprano, and there aren't very many of them in Gospel Music. Tina Watson is another 1 and those Ladies sing of the Vocal Scale ALL DAY!!
Will you please do a voice analysis of some songs by Mahalia Jackson? How I Got Over, Trouble of the World or Lord Don't Move the Mountain are some of her good ones.
SHE'S ON MY MOUNT RUSHMORE OF SINGERS. THIS LADY IS UNSUNG FOR REAL. RIP TO ONE OF MY FAVES EVER. A ONE OF ONE.
Up there with Karen, Tramaine and Yolanda, on my list :)
It makes no sense that a person can sing like this! Whew! What an amazing, powerful, beautiful voice.
