~ Also, a BIG THANK YOU for watching this video, I'm just a beginner and would love to post more stuff you would care about!
R.I.P Captain Michael Beretz (1939-2018)
Despite it's teething problems in the early 70s, it did very well and still flies 50 years later.
The Rolling Stones album “Voodoo Lounge” was released on the day this documentary was filmed.
Thanks so very much for this! 2 of my favorite things..DC10s and Lufthansa! Made my day to find this.
I always loved the DC-10. I flew on them several times over the years on Western, Northwest, Sun Country, ATA, and Delta (same aircraft as Western... Delta chose L-1011 as their original jumbo... they only had DC-10s after acquiring Western). They were big, comfortable, smooth, and quiet... just like flying on your couch in your living room.
Dana Danarosana I flew with DC-10 few times on long flight for me the best aircraft .
I Commanded the DC10-40
It was a fantastic machine
Ah the awesome, sexy DC 10, my all time favorite jumbo
Im not really into planes but the dc10 and the 747 are awesome and give me somehow chills
The golden times of flying
Benjo D. Exactly right.
Wouldn’t you have as well the B767 to Phuket in the same collection series flown by Klaus dauntzenberg ? I bought it nearly 20 years ago in VHS and not avail any more.
unfortunately my vhs to digital converter broke...
I've never seen this instrument before 25:50

What are Lufthansa doing flying that shit heap? Their safety record will be tarnished at this rate.
Oh, shut up! Would you rather fly in a Boeing B737 MAX?
Why would you say that? The DC-10 after the cargo door failure that occurred on AA96 and THY981 were the only accidents attributed to a design flaw. The cargo door issues were also found on the early 747 series.. See UA811 incident in 1989. All other incidents involving a DC-10 after were due to pilot error or airline maintenance error.
Lufthansa had no problems flying the DC-10. I have flown on them in the 80s.
Idiot kid
