Oh my God Lammy has been found (the image of course) and OH DEAR GOD SHE'S TERRIFYING! I think her appearance is the reason why she was cut from the game
Oh the PSAS music actually hits me with the nostalgia. I genuinely liked this mess of a game way more than I expected and was always curious about "what could have been" if Sony support it more. This is really cool to see.
Wow, really enjoying these videos (Always a pleasure to see early stuff from games, sometimes I think it's even more exciting than the games themselves lol). Dunno if you accept suggestions for games but, in case you do, any chances you could try to look for early builds from both "Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time" and "Prince of Persia: Warrior Within" from Ubisoft, please? Those are two games of which I would've always loved to see a Pre-E3 build (A Preview of both was found last year but they were both way after-E3 and even their respective first Demos and so there weren't many differences compared to the final versions). I ask this because both Demos (That are a bit after the E3) have a lot of differences from their final versions (From the UI Icons to some animations and the main character even has a different voice actor in the WW Demo) so I'm sure it would be worth it, you let me know.
So, it's not that I accept or don't accept recommendations, it's more that I don't think I have access to those. Unfortunately. For public videos generally my policy is that I'd have more exclusivity toward the builds, this was something I had to work at a lot in a limited time frame, and I had to see what I could do. I'll definitely keep Prince of Persia in mind though.
I don't know how it will function on real retail hardware. its very small though. keep that in mind. Furthermore if retail then you'll need to come up with a way to utilize PKG files, so you'd need to mod it most likely. retail hardware is much less expensive than dev hardware. good luck
I would recommend a ps3 2500 if on a good firmware. I don't know if its changed, but ps3 3000A units can't be modded, nor can 4000s. I've been out of the retail game for a while.
Hey there, me again. Listen, in case you'll manage to find some prototypes for Prince of Persia (SOT, WW, or any other), I'd like to list you all of the already available ones (To avoid making you waste money and resources on something that has already been shared, would make me feel really bad): Sands of Time: - Playstation 2: Aug 19, 2003 prototype - Xbox: Dec 2, 2003 prototype Warrior Within: - Playstation 2: Oct 25, 2004 prototype Oct 27, 2004 prototype The Two Thrones: - Xbox: Oct 2, 2005 prototype
Hello Kuriatsu, I would like to know if its there are any tools to extract animations and voice clips from release PSASBR. I would like to have some PSASBR characters modded into Smash Bros Brawl but I wouldnt know where to find anything to rip from the game if its possible
there is a tool that was made for the release PSABR made by cri4key, but I do not know of its current publicity. the tool only works on the vita version of retail because of the ps3's encryption, and while there are animations present, I believe they are in a proprietary BPE engine format, which means its unlikely that it could be ported. Sorry :(
So, unfortunately, I'm not a part of OG anymore, so I can't speak for their specific policies or anything, but I was given information that it was made public by OG. I would recommend checking on their discord server if you can and they may have additional info. Sorry :(
Hello, Kuriatsu, been a while since we heard from each other, hope you're doing well. I'd like to ask you, how is the search for Early Prototypes of the Prince of Persia Sands of Time Trilogy going? Have you managed to find something as of now?
Hey, I haven't found anything. In my experience though, they usually fall where they may. Searching is really more like keeping them in mind. Sometimes you find cool stuff, sometimes you don't :(
@@kuriatsu Awww, I'm sorry to hear that 😞 But, just to know, you will still keep an eye out for them (Hoping you'll manage to eventually find them in the future), right? Thanks for the Update, by the way 👍
@@kuriatsu Of course, I'm more than happy with that, thanks! 😊 Also, if I can ask, are you available to search for Horror games as well? In case, well, my favorite Horror game is an unfortunately pretty unpopular PS2 one called "Obscure" which, apparently, was pretty different early in development judging by a very early trailer of it so, if possible, any chance you could try to look for Early Prototypes of it too, please?
Are there any plans to release these builds to the public? I would love nothing more than to get to play early builds of one my favorite games of all time!
That is correct. I was not involved with the release of Title Fight from apr-11, so it was not my choice on this build. Have fun with TF-4/11/2011 though :) I'm glad people can check it out now, even if it's significantly earlier.
Nah, I'm just on a hiatus, because being absolutely honest, my concurrent year long research into that AC3 pre-E3 build burned me out to the point that 9 months later, I feel sick thinking of going back to ac3. I'm working on some other things. Pondering if I want to cover the evil within, or sleeping dogs, lords of shadows 2 or something else.
I'm not going to be making anymore videos about this build, mainly because it is something that was made public, and people well more experienced than me should be able to work on it. Not because I don't want to, but more that I just don't have the knowledge of edge compression and how the ps3 works enough to be able to do more than I have. The build is very small, I'd say about 400MB or so.
I would assume it will. But I'm not 100% sure as to who by. Some of the people who helped me with the original documentation aren't really doing stuff anymore at least that I am aware of., so I don't have much Info on who's taking the "mantle". I'll be covering other games but not this particular build of title fight. What mystery are you referring to? Maybe I can give an answer?
It should be on archive.org. for more info I'd advise you check on OGs discord server. I'm not directly involved because that's how OG wanted it at the time.
I.... Think so? I never used it in rpcs3 other than a couple times. It worked, but it also spasmed really hard graphically. It's not what I'd call... "Working" but maybe more recent rpcs3 work better with it. But because rpcs3 is not designed for debug, I don't know if that's going to happen. Have fun :) I always used it on my Decr console.
You might try an older version. I know when I was initially checking stuff out with AC Rogue builds, they worked fine in a build of rpcs3 from 2 years ago or something. but then an update broke it. but its not supposed to work with rpcs3 to begin with, so I've just been using a DECR for that. Sorry about it not working :(
Yay a poring! Sorry for my late reply. I can't share it with you but I can suggest that you check archive.org, or check OGs discord server. OG specifically kept me out of the loop at the time, so I don't have a ton of info other than what's in the video. Sorry

I suggest checking on their discord server. You may need to sync your OG account with discord, to get in, but I'm not 100% on that. I know they've made changes recently but not what those changes are. Sorry :(

I know what you mean. I think that if Sony actually supported psabr, it could have been amazing.
Oh cool more PlayStation Title Fight and i wish title fight was finish
plus blasto in main menu look awesome
It's sad that lammy didn't appear as a character in ps all-stars, although judging by the icon in this build think that's for the better
