- This week on the DoneDeal UA-cam channel we have teamed up with Bob Flavin to find out whether a well specced Hatchback is in fact better than an SUV. We compare everything from the size, the practicality and of course the way they both drive.
When buying a new car, it's important to be aware of what you want
Do you want it to be practical
Do you want it to be good to drive
Do you want it to be stylish
Do you want it to be economical.
These are all things to consider when buying yourself a new car.
The Renault Clio we tested was a hybrid version, making it perfect for driving around town, whilst the Mokka had an old fashioned combustion engine.
We hope you enjoy our review/comparison, and thank you for watching.
I have that Mokka, it's fantastic, I've had so many positive comments on it in the works car park, people can't believe it's a Vauxhall. It stands out in the crowd of so many SUVs that look so samey. Drives fantastic, punchy engine with the bigger 1.2 as I have. I absolutely love my New Mokka
What’s the fuel economy like? Best of luck with your new car. What colour did u go for.
@@brec5879 getting about 45mpg on normal driving. I have the white with black roof which in my opinion is the best colour combo, it enhances the vizor. My friend at work has just taken delivery of the same car but in grey, it's nice also but white still the best for me
@@LeytonW1974 Tnks for your reply. Fab looking car. Best of luck and enjoy it.
Great feedback from you thanks
What's the ground clearance in the mokka i try finding out there's no info on that it looked similair to the seat arona wich is 19cm in ground clearance also wich 1.2 did u have the 100hp or the 130hp model?
Currently driving a ten year old Meriva , the Mokka looks like a perfect next car for me.
I considered this clio 5 vs mokka. All in all Suv for me. I drive new Mokka and I love it.
That mokka look cool to be fair
In to my second clio in 5 years,
but think time for change, cant say a negative
thing about it, served me well..
Where to now though....
Another good vid dave...
Thanks Paul. Great to hear you've enjoyed the two you have had. What are you thinking of next?
06:06 Bob show you his 😄😄😄😄
Great to see you both on a review. Love the mokka on outside not sure about the red on dash though for me. Does it make it toy looking? But fun.
Good👍
Thank you!
So we have had a petrol automatic Mokka for 12 months. So the lane control is a pain. Getting in the back is another issue. So kids will be ok but if your an adult you will have issues getting in and out. We have the keyless entry. We have given up on this as it is so temperamental. Then one big issue is when we go to open the car with the key fob. We find the car will not open. The key fob stops working. So we have a trick now to get round this. We have to open and close the boot. Which I am guessing because we have keyless entry it allows us to do this. Then the key fob comes back to life. We can now open the car with the key fob. The car has been back 7 times to the dealer. Still not fixed. Oh Vauxhall customer service is a waste of time. I will not say what I think of them.
Gosh not good for you. Hope u get sorted soon.
Renault💪❤️🔝
What are the backseats like inthe Mokka? Does it feel incredibly small?
Hi Georgia,
No they don't feel incredibly small at all. They feel like a similar size to a regular hatchback - something like a Golf. Hopefully that helps :)
David would the Toyota Yaris cross be a bit bigger inside, especially in back? I’m thinking small suv too but Toyota is 33k
Seats or legroom?? Legroom is right if you have a tall driver in the front. I'm 6'3" and it doesn't leave a lot of space. Actual seats are ok, they are very comfy though.
is this movie from Ireland?
It is indeed :)
