Honda Spree speed pulley

- installing a scooter swap shop spree speed pulley on the 84. i strongly recommend this mod if you're not looking to swap the engine on your spree. it will help top end speed but will sacrifice low end acceleration which is not too bad. I started having clutch issues where the bone would sort of skip until it got up to speed. need to get new clutch pads and try again.
thanks a ton for supporing us! ride safe and enjoy
My stock 86 spree does 33 on flat ground with me riding. It runs really strong. I'm having trouble with electric starter, it works when it wants. Lol.. I enjoy videos like this, I learn something new everyday.
You learn soon my son
May I ask where did you get the swap kit from? I’m interested in doing the same. Waiting for the install video as well? Thanks for documenting your build.
Scooter swap shop for the pulley. It's pretty quick easy install just need like a 8mm and a 10mm maybe and like a 14 i think
You mentioned a “complete variater swap”. That’s what I was referencing. Not the pulley.
@@SuperMdara are you able to tag the time spot where i said that? I'm still learning all the proper scooter terminology but i know now that the spree didn't come with a variated engine. I actually just bought a variated AF05 off an aero but thats for a future video down the road
i can’t for the life of me install this on my spree with the new belt i ordered also. it’s the correct belt but thicker than the one that was on it. i had to use the original belt but there were barely any splines to attach the front sprocket too
I usually just pinch the belt super hard to where the clutch is pressed. While holding the belt install the pulley.
Hello, greetings from Peru, can you make a video of how the variator works in the Honda Pax Eve, please, greetings!
Unfortunately I don't have a Honda pax eve to do this with and my engine is only a single speed non variated so it would be different i think
Got my spree from 25 top to 37 top.. thanks Scooter swap shop
Man, never use an impact gun to tighten nuts and bolts.
I'll think about it :)
@@bmxcrazy360 I mean, you can over tighten them and either weaken them, strip them out, or break em completely. But you do you.
@@bkehlin i don't usually take it too far when tightening. Kinda depends on what I'm doing.
@@bkehlin i appreciate the input and this wasn't meant to be a smartass answer!
@@bmxcrazy360don't think about it, keep doing it. I went a little bit without doing it once and the bolt popped off and the belt was totally disengaged and had to walk it all the way home. You are not going to break the threads on a crankshaft unless you do an unrealistic amount
So what did you gain on it
I'd say about 10 but the clutch gave out
