If you eat 5 or 6 Nuks Cola Candy right after each other you AP will get stuck at max AP for like 10sec, just so you know you can get max AP no matter what you do for a period of time by eating 5 to 6 in a row 👌 Remember guys and girls you can buy all of the nuka cola variants down at nuka cola on tour and then server jump and buy them all again, there is a cool down in like 1 min from each server jump for all the nuka cola variants to restock in the vending machine.
I've found that just slamming three of the candies gives me enough AP over time to perma-sprint for a while. It's a great alternative to the coffee machine for those that missed it.
I love the Nuka Cola Candy. It's my go to food source. It's free, it provides all of the benefits you mentioned and more. Just don't eat the Mystery candy.

Out of all of the Nukas, the one I use the least has to be Quantum. I much prefer AP over time in most cases since I can keep my AP up while using it. In the case of the Quantum, if you don't use it you lose it. Also, Cola Nut makes Nukas a viable alternative to canned coffee for everyone that missed the Slocum's Joe coffee machine. Don't forget to claim your Quantum Nuka-Tron on the scoreboard, or get a base model for bullion at Foundation. The candy machines on this scoreboard are also a viable option since they give 60 AP over time, even without Cola Nut.
Is the Quantun Nuka collector as good as the Nuka-Cola ollectpr you get from Foundation for gold bullion? I just want to make sure I don’t waste the gold getting something that provides the exact same result when I got it for free on the scoreboard
@@seendon5394 I've been told that the loot pools are slightly different. The Quantum collectron can get Nuka-Twists, while the other one can't. However, other sodas like the orange and grape are going to be less common.
Absolutely amazing. I swapped out 2 ranks of Ghoulish for the 2 ranks of Cola Nut. With Nuka Cherry, I effectively have short term bursts of infinite AP, which is absolutely hilarious with my dramatically increased speed from mutations and food and then my jet pack. If Dark wasn't only a 3 minute buff, I'd probably run Party Boy too. I experimented with Party Boy in the past since I use tons of alcohol, but typically not worth it except in rare cases. However Nuka Cranberry XP buff is 30 min, which stacks nicely with Canned Meat Stew (I'm Carnivore. I imagine Cranberry Relish is about the same for Herbivores. But they don't get our Pepperoni Rolls 😜). Recently made a camp down by a fissure site, so now I have a constant stream of Scorchbeast meats too. Scorchbeast Mixed Stew gives +2.5 to all stats with my mutations, and each of the organs give +8 in one stat (also because of mutations and perks). So my guy now on top of being a Chem Fiend and alcoholic, has a massive cola habit.
I love running cola nut now. Nuka twist is great and the mystery machine gives it frequently. Also the mixers at Nuka world generally have them making them easy to stock pile😁
Thank you as always for the educational information that I am too lazy to embark on myself it is greatly appreciated. I'm not so certain that I will make permanent changes to my build now being level 750 however I may acquire the perk and experimental around during daily ops or some other events because, it sounds like the buffs last long enough for those and that could definitely be helpful nothing wrong with having additional buffs during those events.
I like to take both with cola nut perk with Nuka Cranberry and the stat buff from Leo at the same time to get a stackable xp boost that can be combined with other items like Canned Meat Stew which further increases XP boost. Good for endgame boss fights where more enemies spawn and the XP from the boss itself.
Jus wanted to say i made a character and i call him the NCR Nuka-cider. (Nuka cola raider) I use the union power armor 3 pieces life saving 2 unyielding( the nuka cola classic skin) i use 3 weapons, a bloodied nuka quantom thirst zapper, the nuka launcher, and i use an explosive quad ap reduce fixer. Key perks: Last laugh Mysterious saviour Revinant E.M.T. Injector Blood sacrifice Demo expert Grenader The perks that deal with reviving a player work for you too and with life saving at 3 pieces of armor you will revive almost every time, giving you insane buffs for both you and your team sometimes. I just hold my nuka grenade, blow up, blow up a second time from last laugh and revive with crazy ap regen and damage increase for the nuka launcher or fixer. And if things get rly scary i sometimes just whip out the quantom thirst zapper and it can do 2500 damage criticals. In all honesty i havent really used cola nut on it even though i have alot of cola, i feel like it runs best mainly doing xp runs with cranberry. Also my character is from the nuka cola vault, where they tested a whole bunch of ingredients and new colas they hadnt used, making me crave it and raising me on it. I killed them all and ran to the place my granpa sang of, the shanandoa river in the hills of west virginia. As i kept going i realised my body needed nuka cola to survive and nuka world on tour still existed in my destination.

Yeah, using Cola Nut constantly now. Since it works for both the drinks and the candy, you can just fill your thirst and hunger meters with soda and sweets and get extra buffs while at it. Why not?
I started using the perk again when I noticed I was carrying 300 nuka cola twists, you might be wondering why and how, well each time I am at my base i click on me mystery machine and empty my collectron, seems to have stacked high for a month doing this habit.
By the way a one who has the nuka-cola quantum candy machine be careful the candy is being glitchy on PS4 like it's becoming different stacks and then doing some sort of glitch out thing by leaving behind a non-existent product that will crash the game if try to consume
It's glitchy across all platforms (I'm on PC). It's possible to force them to stack by either dropping them or putting them into a container, but you have to be careful not to do it too fast since the crash glitch you're talking about can still happen. I usually try to move my largest stack first, and if that starts pulling from a different stack I'll switch to that one. Once everything is dropped it usually ends up in a single stack that won't crash you when you eat it.
I used to use Cola Nut when I was low level and finding stimpaks "was" rare. Now having everything in abundance, I have long shelved it in favor of Fireproof. But, now I might just start using it again, especially with Twist available.
All those nuka cols would need something like Elgato stream deck to bind each nuka cola to matching icon on the deck so that so it's quick to use the desired one.
Nuka Colas are super cool but they deserve more love. First thing, we should be able to drink them with the rapid cure button. But they also need more unique effects and should be involved in more recipes
I run a full health build and haven't used a Radaway for months, in fact I don't even carry them Nuka Grape all day long This also helps with my carry weight as I have the Green Grocer's perk on my backpack
Just an FYI Nuka Grape is good to get rid of rads if you are mutates since it does not effect the mutations like rad away does, especially speed demon or marsupial.
I have 2 question about this. 1. If I equip cola nut, then drink something like twist, then unequip cola nut, do I retain the improved buff, or does it get changed to a regular buff? 2.If I drink orange, and then after 7 min drink another one, I get 150 rad resist, will now I keep 150 rad resist for those new 8 minutes, or will it go down back to 75 after 1 minute, since the original orange will have been drunk 8 minutes ago by then?
Hey angry turtle, there's a glitch with the mystery Nuka cola machine at your camp, if you scrap it and place a new one it takes away the delay for waiting to buy again, you can basically buy an unlimited amount of Nuka cola s
I've been using cola nut on my bloodied build for healing and it with no animation it works great. Only down side is weight... not sure why they need to be so heavy
Cola Nut and Nuka-Cherry have completely replaced my stim packs. My full life overeater commando loves Nuka-grape. It is borderline mandatory in all my builds.
@@AngryTurtle it's like a feedback loop. Party Boy triples the effect of old world alcohol (Nuka Dark), Happy-go-lucky adds 3 luck when drunk, Cola Nut triples the Effect of all Cola Products. So 3 Luck from the alcohol side becomes 9, but also 9 again from the Cola Side. Not sure if it's intended, but at 15 base Luck, I go to 23 when I pop a Nuka Dark with all three perks equipped.

Nuka grape is central to my build, but it takes sooo long to farm, especially after youve set all the camps to nuka collectron then the server crashes.. 2hrs gone

@@lars1701again Marc, he also probably plays more than us non turtle folk but I suppose the other major thing is that they are heavy. I only keep them on one of my characters that uses the appropriate perk cards, the nuka weighs the others down too much to keep more than a couple of bottles.
So can grape replace stimpaks and radaway?will ten nuka cola grape weigh less then 5 stimpaks and five radaways. And lastly can you use it to replace the starched gene perk card?
A grape weighs 1 without any perks, while a stimpak weighs 0.8 and a RadAway weighs 0.3. However, you can drink a grape even when you are at full health, but you cannot use a stimpak while at full health. I'm a melee build, and I like to pre-heal with a grape or orange when charging certain enemies, since the HP over time can offset the damage from things like super mutant firestarters when I'm closing the distance. I won't ever dump Starched Genes though, since I don't want to get any more mutations from the environment, nor do I want to lose mine when I hop in a rad shower.
I'm only halfway through the video, so sorry if Turtle mentioned it, but, the stat buffs from Twist and Candy override any food buffs you have. Obviously let me know if I'm wrong? I did testing couple weeks after the Nuka patch came out. It sucks because, when they first came out, the buffs from Twist and Candy DIDN'T override your food buffs, but a hot patch Beth did a couple weeks later "nerfed" them so they do override.😔
It was always intended like that you cannot use 2 of the same buff consumables it will always override it..! Maybe Beth forgot about the new cola stuff and fixed it with the patch..🤷🏽♂️
I heard a rumor that Nuka World on Tour was going away. Is that not true? I enjoy spending caps in those soda machines to complete the collect Nuka-Cola challenge.
Maybe im not sure but, You have to many stuff in yo inventory try to drop some in yo stash box like holotapes notes etc etc and try after that see if there is a difference..
They're really glitchy when it comes to stacking. Not only do they not always stack properly, but when you eat or drop one it might call for a candy from a stack other than the one you clicked. If that happens and the stack it tries to pull from is empty, your game will crash.
@@londondrz Every once in a while a new glitch will pop up that lets people duplicate items, turning 1 Quantum into 1000 or making copies of legacy weapons, for example. Bethesda eventually patches it and sometimes bans people tho.
I've been using Cola Nut since I first started playing, at first because it fit my character, but I quickly discovered how good it was for healing and buffs. I've been surprised not seeing it show up in more builds. I use it in every build when I can
You do a great job selling them, but the Nuka colas (and any related perks) are useless and a complete waste of time. They all do (basically) the same thing, and due to the very minor effects amd effect times, none of them will change your gaming experience.
PVP’ers and some build require nuka-colas. I run a cold-shoulder full health build with Assasin’s/AP refresh/75HtD and I don’t use stim pack. Also, the hiker perk in agility affects the nuka-cola weight so I don’t have to use the strength perk for aid. Nuka-cola might not be as good for low health build but for full health, it is.

I’ve always run Cola-Nut and use Nukas instead of stimpaks. I’ve actually done this in FO3, FNV, and FO4 as well without the perk, just made them Ice Cold in my fridge or with Drinkin’ Buddy.
you forgot to mention the best part; you get paid to use them 😁 although im pretty sure everyone already knows that. ive always used the nuka cola collectron for nuka grenades, and i would just put the others in my vendor for a few caps. they always sell out fairly quickly. maybe ill start using them instead.
Long ago, I wanted to create a Nuka-Cola commando. But Cola Nut doesn't really help bloodied commandos all that much. I don't PvP. I don't do Ashes to Fire. I certainly will never XP grind. Canned coffee is the only buff I use to be honest.
If the fact that there aren’t thousands of duped meds and food I would actually be impressed. Sadly, the state of the game doesn’t allow for any of that build admiration. It’s ALL a joke. How can anyone trust a single fo76 content creator, when they could very well be hiding all the duped crap and legacy guns.
I honestly feel that nuka cola products are too strong and need to be nerfed, then using nuka nut should make it so they’re in the current state, where not using nuka nut makes them not as strong.

I 100% agree with this. Been using this perk with the alcohol perks for a long time. It's a great alternative to heal and bonus stats.

rads resist timer is individual per drink even tho you can only see one

@@MrSolidBlakeGaming Yes, i use Grocer Backpack outside of Power Armor, or thru-hiker when using it. This lowers the weight to almost nothing.

Too much to invest in buffs that last for less than 11 minutes and the buffs don't stack.

@@lars1701again Marc, he also probably plays more than us non turtle folk but I suppose the other major thing is that they are heavy. I only keep them on one of my characters that uses the appropriate perk cards, the nuka weighs the others down too much to keep more than a couple of bottles.
I’ve been running nuka perks for two years.
So can grape replace stimpaks and radaway?will ten nuka cola grape weigh less then 5 stimpaks and five radaways. And lastly can you use it to replace the starched gene perk card?

A grape weighs 1 without any perks, while a stimpak weighs 0.8 and a RadAway weighs 0.3. However, you can drink a grape even when you are at full health, but you cannot use a stimpak while at full health. I'm a melee build, and I like to pre-heal with a grape or orange when charging certain enemies, since the HP over time can offset the damage from things like super mutant firestarters when I'm closing the distance.
I won't ever dump Starched Genes though, since I don't want to get any more mutations from the environment, nor do I want to lose mine when I hop in a rad shower.
I'm only halfway through the video, so sorry if Turtle mentioned it, but, the stat buffs from Twist and Candy override any food buffs you have. Obviously let me know if I'm wrong? I did testing couple weeks after the Nuka patch came out. It sucks because, when they first came out, the buffs from Twist and Candy DIDN'T override your food buffs, but a hot patch Beth did a couple weeks later "nerfed" them so they do override.😔
It was always intended like that you cannot use 2 of the same buff consumables it will always override it..! Maybe Beth forgot about the new cola stuff and fixed it with the patch..🤷🏽♂️

I try to use cola nut as my primary source of healing, but when I open the favorites wheel to pop a cola the game lags out and I die.
Maybe im not sure but, You have to many stuff in yo inventory try to drop some in yo stash box like holotapes notes etc etc and try after that see if there is a difference..

Has anybody else had the game crash after eating alot of Nuka cola quantum candies?

They're really glitchy when it comes to stacking. Not only do they not always stack properly, but when you eat or drop one it might call for a candy from a stack other than the one you clicked. If that happens and the stack it tries to pull from is empty, your game will crash.
I have, a few times. Stoppedusing them and scrapped my machine. Never had an issue with the regular Nuka Candy though

@@londondrz Every once in a while a new glitch will pop up that lets people duplicate items, turning 1 Quantum into 1000 or making copies of legacy weapons, for example.
Bethesda eventually patches it and sometimes bans people tho.

I've been using Cola Nut since I first started playing, at first because it fit my character, but I quickly discovered how good it was for healing and buffs. I've been surprised not seeing it show up in more builds. I use it in every build when I can
You do a great job selling them, but the Nuka colas (and any related perks) are useless and a complete waste of time. They all do (basically) the same thing, and due to the very minor effects amd effect times, none of them will change your gaming experience.
PVP’ers and some build require nuka-colas. I run a cold-shoulder full health build with Assasin’s/AP refresh/75HtD and I don’t use stim pack. Also, the hiker perk in agility affects the nuka-cola weight so I don’t have to use the strength perk for aid. Nuka-cola might not be as good for low health build but for full health, it is.

I’ve always run Cola-Nut and use Nukas instead of stimpaks. I’ve actually done this in FO3, FNV, and FO4 as well without the perk, just made them Ice Cold in my fridge or with Drinkin’ Buddy.

ive always used the nuka cola collectron for nuka grenades, and i would just put the others in my vendor for a few caps. they always sell out fairly quickly. maybe ill start using them instead.

Long ago, I wanted to create a Nuka-Cola commando. But Cola Nut doesn't really help bloodied commandos all that much. I don't PvP. I don't do Ashes to Fire. I certainly will never XP grind. Canned coffee is the only buff I use to be honest.
Glitch your AP to infinity with colas and coffee 😂😂😂 lasts for about 3 mins max 1 min 30 seconds minimum

If the fact that there aren’t thousands of duped meds and food I would actually be impressed. Sadly, the state of the game doesn’t allow for any of that build admiration. It’s ALL a joke. I honestly feel that nuka cola products are too strong and need to be nerfed, then using nuka nut should make it so they’re in the current state, where not using nuka nut makes them not as strong.
