The main difference between the 180 and 200 is that the 200 has 6 gears, 180 has 5. Number of gears does not change (currently) based on transmission choice, it (currently) depends on car choice.

Hey Theo, if you get Stock Cams, It will knock your power down to 814HP But you will NEVER have problems with overheating even using Nitros
I'm not sure if you already know this but in the garage if you go upto your car and press down on the D-Pad you can open the sunroof. A cool little feature👍
Use D-Pad Left for the Minimap. Plenty useful with checkpoints
If you want to stop overheating,
Change to stock cams, and go for street turbo, car is fast enough to beat everything on the street, and no overheating!
you just need stock cams, you can keep the max turbo
@@bryanp.6422 will still overheat with nos :) and the difference is nothing, top speed is still 370 (On the GPS, not the upgrade UI)
for some odd reason, the drag tires are just broken so use semi slicks, also you could gut the whole interior out and shave a lotta weight
14:30 what a LEGENDARY moment. That sound, the revs, the quality of it all. That 180sx sounds so different compared to when you bought it stock, a feat a lot of triple A racing games can't even get right. I really hope we get this game on consoles.
No chance this is coming to console unfortunately
The game's legendary already yet it's not fully out! Some modders were able to unlock the other cars such as the R34, Porsche, Mark II and S15 and their stuff is floating around here. Might wanna check it out for yourself!

I understand that the kickstarter is supposed to have released "a couple of weeks" after the demo or whatever the currently released version is named, but it has been over a month already, and no word at all. I'm not asking for a quick release, I'm asking for updates so we know when it'll happen.

The dev himself said that the game's going to come somewhere in February on Steam let's see if that's the case cuz I'm definitely ready to drop hours into this game
He also said that the game would be on Steam 2 weeks after the Prologue.. So yeah
after having backed a couple solo dev projects that showed immense potential like this game... I'd seriously keep my expectations low

This game and its developer have reached an unheard of status in my book! Great work all around keep it coming pants the community needs this! Hopefully it hits consoles as well
If you don't want to constantly overheating, go for a 700HP Build. Go with Circuit Parts except the coolings and the strength parts, those can use Prototype parts.
Tested it with Short Gears, no overheating even when rev banging with cooling at 97%.
the more i watch these night runners videos the more i want this to come the PS but probably will never happen

Triple A Games Devs don't copy from indies they just copy what's ever trending, which is why a lot of games are live service and some type of battle pass or something similar they copied from Fortnite

Put better speed gauge on drag car and leave higher rpm gauge on the other one

one thing that you should do, is to get rid of your rpm gauge and put it where your boost gauge is and place a km/h gauge where the rpm gauge is

Do a 180 full cf for a power to weight build as its lighter the only difference between it and the 200rs is that the 200 has a 6 speed vs the 180 with a 5 speed

i think its better off without the steelies , but its your car!
Just make the second car with stage 2 parts for everything except suspension tires and brakes maxed those out because fuel efficiency will different depending on your horsepower

Again, the difficulty is only tied to the rep difference as far as racing goes. The only problem is that you max out at 10k rep and the opponents don't.

I love how at high speed you only hear the wind not the engine anymore BUT the dev is a car guy for sure because he kept the straight cut gearbox sound on even if you can't hear the engine anymore, he kept the eargasmic sound of the gearbox no matter what. . . . .now THAT is what i call attention to details, does it make sense? no but i'll goddamn take it.
Seriously tho this game shows so much promise,i'm more hyped for this than i've been in the past like 10 years for any racing game and i'm genuinely not joking right now,ever since Pro Street i've never been hyped for a racing game anymore but this indie game made by one guy got me super hyped.
Also like i said before imagine the sound of that "Skyline" with a straight cut gearbox, that will be the thing that'll give most car guys a boner i swear =)))))))

Ay Mr.Pants man, if you see this I know a way to not run your main car so hot. You gotta stop over-revving. You hit your redline and then just stay there for like a couple seconds, only use the super high revs when you really need to

The license plate on the thumbnail isn’t accurate to the type of car it’s on!
The number "786" is part of the "7xx" vehicle class - series which doesn’t belong on a car like the 180 SX.
It would be either "5xx" or "3xx" vehicle class.
Pre-1998 it was "5x" and "3x".
