One of very few channels where I enjoy watching 50+ minute videos. I find racing at this level entertaining and interesting, as it's far more relatable than the upper echelons of motorsport. Great driving of a similarly superb car. E46 M3 is just so right.

Fantastic drive Dan. The 1:47.04 following the 2nd safety car restart was so smooth... Reminded me of watching the on board pole lap following F1 qualifying where you just get to watch in awe with no interruptions from commentary etc. How good would it be to see you drive that M3 round the ring 😍

Yeah as a low level competitor (autotest, karting, nav rallies) and someone that used to service for people a lot at races and rallies, the service area/pitlane atmospheres bring a lot of joy and nostalgia. And then the racing brings the buzz (and a slight semi when it goes well).

Looks like some top class driving, in a top goal car, with some racing tactics that I’m sure you’re proud of, along with all the effort it’s taken you in racing and prep up to this point, hats off. Really enjoy the commentary of your thought processes through safety car restarts etc, you do a really good job of putting viewers into your perspective. Out of interest did you pay to drive, like an arrive and drive set up, or just share the entry fees, or was this free for you to do?
I was watching the Irish touring car racing over here last weekend on livestream with my 2 year old daughter. She asks "wheres daddys racecar" in which case I explained we how have to finish making it. Her reply was; "Daddy go vroom vroom in purple car" as in my E46 that's doing the creche runs at the moment 😅 Watching this video hasn't helped to not consider her proposal one bit whatsoever 🙈🙈🙈 Brilliant drive and such a shame ye got unlucky at the end!
Square set up is great for track days and rotating your tyres until the cords show (just like wearing pads to the metal too 😬👍) but 265/295 is the ultimate speed set up on a ‘46 👍 Oh and is it alpina green 🤷♂️
Congratulations on your drive, well done! That M3 is as much my dream spec as it is yours, what a machine🤤 Would’ve been good to see some of James driving though, appreciate maybe the footage wasn’t worth it due to safety cars etc. but it would be cool to compare your respective driving styles
