Back in the 80s a group of us were 4-wheeling in the Mojave Desert. The area is a mix of public and private roads and it was difficult at times to know which was which. Came around a bend in a canyon and saw a GIANT sign next to the road, painted in red, "Turn Around or Be SHOT." That cleared up any confusion, we turned around.

Maybe drill a hole 3-4” from each end & put a bolt thru it, couple of washers and a nut on each bolt. Keep the pipe from sliding downward towards the lock end. Gets to be a pain in the rear always sliding that pipe out of your way when you go to lock it back up! I know!

What amazes me about the dump truck drivers is that they've put down gravel like this so often that they know exactly how to dump the load and spread it reasonably well at the right thickness and at the right speed. Good job guys.

Some trucks also have auto-tipping computers that regulate and increase RPM so the engine won't lug under hydraulic demand and throttle can be set to ensure an even spread. @jp: so true. I found a turtle, about this size, while mowing around our lake. I moved him/her because I didn't want to hit. I moved it off it's path, etc. The next trip around the path I was mowing, the turtle was almost at the same location and moving in the same direction as before. Did this two more times before giving up. I decided and as you stated, it was on a mission and will not be deviated from. I found it interesting about these creatures.

They haven't been caught and told no by the cops and they laugh at signage. It is happens everywhere!!! For what it's worth, my sister was driving when she hit a cable she did not see. Peeled the hood off the car and bent the a pillars in, smashed the windshield, etc. She was only going maybe 15 MPH.
Hang reflectors off it. Maybe lengths of that orange plastic chain? People are litigious, and laws are... maybe not what you'd expect. My father in law used to say "do what the prudent man would do." At least it's defensible in court.

Get a set of the cheap solar rope lights to wrap on the cable across the driveway. Make the cable visible in the dark.
People have been sued for those cables because some trespasser rode an ATV or motorcycle into them.

Greetings from SE Oklahoma! Can't tell how high cable is by vedio, but don't put it too high, they just lifted ours and drove under on a fourwheeler. We had signs and all. People are amazingly insensitive to put it nice. With the rain and driving over the gravel several times, you can pack it down. Such a hard, hard worker, & a great man. I enjoy your family. Probably if it reads trespasser will be shot survivors will be prosecuted. There are laws about using that sign legally, like a sign every so many feet apart and or a proper size and font. My thought is a survivor cannot sue you, make sure he/she is dead.

Trespassers can be a problem for sure, just be careful with cables. Pvc slid on them or other high visibility items should be used. Cables are the hardest to see and injury can often happen to trespassers. Even though you are well within your rights to protecting your property and privacy, many landowners have had lawsuits solely based on the thought that human life is more important than inanimate land or property. Just food for thought. Be safe and free 🇺🇸

You have to do whatever it takes to protect your property they're thinking I'll just sneak out there and they'll never know WRONG. Dutch just keep your guard up while your out there by yourself, I know your carrying but don't leave it in your truck people are crazy today. You may never know they may come out there to see what you are doing I don't want to sound paranoid but that's how people are today with that being said the road looking good it's coming along so whats next KID keep up the good work and see you in the next video🤔😉
