I had a Russian friend give me a Samagon recipe when I started distilling years ago. It was largely water, cane sugar, brewer's yeast and tomato paste. It wasn't too bad after a couple of trips through the still, and a run through his suggested charcoal and boiled sand filter. Not that cheap to make when you'd finished. The reason I bring this up is Boris called the Grappa 'Igor's samagon", which as far as I know means 'homemade' in Russian. I have several Italian and Greek friends give me their version of grappa over the years. Some were amazing, most were shit, just like Nonna's supposedly incredible cooking. I like to imagine that in the Boris Cinematic Universe, he's the only one in his family who actually talks, and all the times he quotes anyone else, it's his understanding of their nonverbal communication. Ayyy Boris, glad to see you having fun with this video. I will say if you ever want to take a dive into the unholy there's a cheap vodka that has some infamy here in US that at best I can call a blasphemy against Vodka and at worst it's probably paint thinner being sold as a drinkable spirit...and it comes in at about $7USD or a little over 7 euros for a 750ml bottle. If you ever wondered what it was like to drink four time distilled lighter fluid on the cheap without the guaranteed death, look for "Karkov" vodka.
McCormick and Popov are definitely some questionable bottles that I drank many of in college. Its great because it comes in a plastic bottle so when you black out drunk your glass bottle doesn't shatter
Don't know how available it is outside of New England, but I spent a few semesters at a college in Massachusetts and the broke student's vodka of choice was called Rubinoff. If I remember correctly it was something like $12-15 for a handle (1.75L) and came in *_35 different flavors,_* all of which tasted like battery acid and a pinch of artificial sweetener.

You know he is drunk when he says he isn't drunk
I literally shouted out in joy seeing a new Boris vid appear in my feed. Thank you for coming back for us Boris!!!
SAME
He has returned when we needed him most!
... And he brought company!
I like to imagine that in the Boris Cinematic Universe, he's the only one in his family who actually talks, and all the times he quotes anyone else, it's his understanding of their nonverbal communication. Christmas Dinner is a lot of Boris speaking, and everyone telling stories exclusively through gestures
HE IS ALIVE
Soup

When cousin Anatoli puts the pickles on the table and says "pyckle" I lost it ahhahahaha too good
When the world needed him the most, he returned
The world doesn't need him right now.
IT ALWAYS NEED HIM!
He has a new channel, Soup Kitchen Gaming
he never left though. He just went too a different channel. Soup Chicken Gaming
@@M1chael42O1 Chicken? Do you mean Kitchen?
@@commandercody2980 fucking auto correct. I ain't fixing that
I was actually concerned for him for those few couple of months, so it is real relief to see him all well and healthy and laughing and just having fun
I've always fangirled over Boris, not Anatoli, but Anatoli saying "pickle" is the cutest thing I've seen for at least a week...and my sister just had a baby girl.
Anatoli's got quite a following too, watch the potato salad video for more info
when did anatoli say pickle i think missed it

Sending out a congrats to your sister and baby.
Boris, you literally help me forget about my depression, I fucking love you and I missed you so damn much, please, please don t stop making content, I think I could watch anything that you put your mind into.
Many of us agree wholeheartedly
welcome back Boris. It is always a good day with papa Boris uploads.
He never lets us down, even if he feels like he has.
@@blu5021 he never deserted us as well
We need this Boris back. Winter gets cold and Boris warms my heart when the snow is too much for my bones.
He not only returns, as the prophecies foretold, but he came back with a banger!
I have missed your videos my friend.
Coming back WITH THE COUSIN! That was quite an incredible video, I liked the slight change in editing style with the freeze frames with the sad pickle and stand up comedy. That Italian drink though was very funny to watch, especially when you two figured out it was 125 euros. Welcome back to the show, we've all, or at least I've missed you, and your singing is quite nice on Soup Kitchen Gaming.
Yesssss
I loved the freez frames
You know where Boris is from when:
1) he immediately gravitates towards Laua Viin
2) there is no Russian vodka on the table.
That's because he's in the Baltics right now and there's embargos on Russian vodka
actually there is no more russian vodka anywhere besides in russia
it's not allowed to be imported
@@Peglegkickboxer He literally spoke clean estonian in one of his videos, and noone besides an estonian can do that.
@@madcrusader123 Estonia has a big Russian minority. Maybe he’s bilingual
He's definitely not russian, I'm russian btw
I love how Boris gets confused instantly when he drinks something different than vodka and kvass for once 😆
Or Tarhun or Kompot. Both of those are drinks he also has in several videos.
his laugh is contagious I swear
he was laughing and while I watched I started laughing but I didnt even understand the joke his laugh is just so amazing omg
When his laugh is funnier than the joke:
2:00 Boris laughs at vodka not being brown. Meanwhile I'm having Żołądkowa Gorzka PTSD.
You're having fun and not forcing yourself to make content that's relevant within the algorithm. Seeing you two laugh and have a great time is what we came for and love about you Boris. The Slavic content and laughs is what made this channel awesome to begin with. Keep at it, but most importantly keep having fun.
0:42 Anatoli pondering the meaning of the number "six"
I laughed so hard at Boris losing his mind over the price of the grappa. Thank you. I needed that.
I never...thought I would ever...hear this intro again.
Brings a tear to my eye. Good to see you again Boris.
A happy Boris!! You love to see it!
Also props to Cousin Anatoli for being a fun co-host, and to Viktor for setting up the challenge and his fiendish choices of bottles!
Boris the gopnik coughing for 20 minutes is the funniest video i have seen in a while
17:35 Boris and Anatoli laughs at your alcohol tolerance
We absolutely need more of this more relaxed and fun content. I could easily watch these kinds of videos for hours!
I laughed my ass off so hard, that all other passengers in the train looked at me with pure confusion.
If they would've known what I was watching, the train would have derailed by the driver going full speed trying to get a cabin full of chaotically laughing lads out ASAP.
Ty Boris. Greatest video I've seen in a while. No need to rush making a new one as my heart can not take more laughing for the rest of the months
Boris and Anatoli seem like they're having such a blast! I raise a shot of vodka (Tito's) to you my friends.
May you do what you love, on both channels, and may that bring you prosperity.
“Quiet in the back or I will bring the old channel back” - Boris
It was a sign
3:43 EEEIUOEOU 😆😆😆
I just LOVE the editing of the subtitles, it is superb. And I am so happy Boris still uploads on this channel!
The way Boris would sound more and more drunk as time passed is priceless
OPA! So glad to see you and cousin Anatoli back and making a fun, “family-friendly” video. Screw the YT algorithm, it’s completely fucked anyways! Will always enjoy whatever you produce and keep the CHEEKI BREEKI Slav flowing. Davai Comrade!
Anatoli doesn't talk yet he brings so much to the video, glad to see him back!
He doesn't say much, he just move to rhythm of Cheeki-Breeki.
as an introverted person i’m in love with anatoli
I haven't seen Boris have so much fun and laugh so hard in forever.
10/10 content, loved it. The sound of Boris’s laugh made me feel like I was 13 again when I first discovered this channel.
Man! That sawmill joke came out of the left field!! I'm dying 🤣🤣
Nice to see his old intro again, bloody well warmed my heart, as did seeing him just having fun!
You can buy the 1.75 for 11.99 it's a better bargain
@@joshuasvensson5448 Softer on the wallet for sure, split with a friend or unleash double the torment upon your liver.
The german equivalent is Kaliskaya. 5€ aka $5 for 750ml
BORIS! *HE HAS RETURNED!!* REJOICE, AS THE CHEEKI BREEKI MAN HIMSELF HAS COME BACK!!!
Edit: Alternate title: Boris and Anatoli get drunk as hell while trying to guess vodkas
I started studying Russian and yeah, it's horrid because you have to understand the meaning of the sentence in English to get the cases right in Russian. Ukrainian has the same issue
@@UnReaLgeek Thank you, I have edited my comment!
Boris' reaction after hearing the price of the "not vodka" was priceless. XD And I think him and Anatoli are going to buy more Grey Goose from here on.
