Modify your boat at your own risk. bob's machine shop - Навчання та стиль
Freaking awesome video as usual. You inspired me to re-do an old boat. Thank you!
Great boat work....Well done in the post editing process as well the footage and transitions were really entertaining sir
Bobs is the bomb! Got it coming on my Nate build. The beauty is you can buy a non-motorized version and then later upgrade it with a motor (the only jack plate that allows you to do that).
These boats are awesome they’re like kayaks on steroids love it!!
That’s a sick color!
Awesome boat
Helix 10s or 12s at bow and console. Plus an additional unit at the bow to run any of the new forward scanning sonar systems
I just joined the TBN Facebook group in Michigan. I will post pictures of my 2011 Ultra Craft 14c. New 2021 Suzuki 30hp with a Vance break away jack plate.
Alumacraft "Queen of The Waterways" 😎👍
Thoughts on the graphs you asked for: I would put a Garmin live scope on the bow on its own little retractable Pole(available from Garmin) and at the bottom of it I would mount a hummingbird 360 side scan transducer, that'll way you can twist it and aim it and set it up anyway you want while you're fishing up on the bow. That's roughly $4,000 worth of electronics but that's what it cost today. Two 12" displays ought to do it..😎😎😎
SWEET!
Nice clean installation. When using a jack plate do you use the height adjustability to replace trim. My 2004 boat came with the ability to change the angle (power trim) of the motor but no ability to raise and lower the motor. Does this setup have both or just up & down?
Would you think about adding a centre console?
I was wondering when are you going to show the 1240 build that was mentioned in the 3 day build? My brother n I purchased one recently and really want to see what it can look like. Thank you.
I would add a helix 9 g4 on the front with that ulrex. That would be sick
obviously you're gonna want a helix 7 or better, ipilot is key right.
I have a Bob's 6" jack plate that is missing the cylinder ram . I had all the parts powder coated and ordered new slides from BMS but not a new cylinder . Thinking about going with a Lenco 600 pound electric ram that has a 6" lift . All the dimensions are spot on and half the price as buying one from Bob's. What is your opinion of this ?.
What size jack plate was the one you installed?
Bobs machine right?
Is this in lake havasu? Was just down there yesterday from wa.
Heat gun the eadges of that starboard to turn it back to the deep black color
Surprised to see a wood deck on that boat. Would have figured all aluminum. Interesting.
How shallow can you go with that jack plate??
What prop is on the 9.9 kicker
Hey am I missing a link to the jack plate. Where can I look at models and prices?
You should of look into the 3.0 merc
Do you do your own video editing? It's getting better 👍
Bass pro now has the helix 7 for the price of the helix 5 killer deal better hurry they are in limeted supply
Dual helix 10 mega si+
Garmin fish finder
Im finally early
Grab a bigger impact. Lol
Where is the next video? 🤷🏼♂️ 🤣🤣🤣
I bought a pro kicker i november its amazing engine. Looking forward for next season. 9.9hp 15hp 20hp is the same
What speeds are you getting out of that 9.9 pro kicker an what prop is that
@@darylfeld8687 my propeller is 10x7"
@@erikandrehoglund55 thanks brother what speed are you getting and what brand prop are you running
@@darylfeld8687 mercury black max prop 9.25x11.5 . Actually alone in my 4m aluminium boat top speed with no waves was 28knots.
With full speed 3 guys/adults in was 23knots.
The boat i have , weight around 130kg+Prokicker 51kg.
@@darylfeld8687 my dealer changed it from 15hp in to 20hp he said . Just changed a chip in it. So yes 9.9+15hp+20hp as standard+pro kicker model/engine is the same engine thanks bro
Should have done a jet not a prop moter
Gee whiz....... I mean........ but......... I got a Jack plate on my boat (13'10" Sea Nymph 14R)but it does 45 mph with a 40 horse Merc. But a 9.9 or even a 20 with a jack plate on a 17 ft boat? That's just a bunch more weight that slows you down. I would have put my money towards a live scope. now if you're going to put a 60 hp. tiller on that boat in the future that's a different story. Cool looking stuff though. Jack plates are predominantly for running at higher speeds with cupped props running slightly out of the water.
I agree with ya it's a horrible idea n waste of time n money if running a 9.9hp stick.
Yeah, but he does have a bigger motor he puts on it for the big lakes. Two motors for 1 boat
@@chrisroberts3963 I guess, twice the time n money n weight etc if using both, let alone swapping motors just to go out. If a lake is small enough to require under 10hp then I don't have any business being there anyways, to each their own there's more than one way to skin a cat. Even if one way takes twice as long and costs twice as much either way gets you out on the water even if I think it's ridiculous af, im happy when people get on the h20.
Love the channel but this is complete waste of time n money if running a 9.9hp stick. To each their own.
