I say Ezio and Connor, for the simple reason that both of them individually are like curses, it doesn't matter what you do, if they have you in their sights you're done, they will eventually get you and you have no say in it. Now imagine both of those monsters being on your trail

Now that I think of it, that duo would be extremely deadly, if they worked together.
Maybe, through some sort of truce, they'd work together, but their ideologies, mostly methods, would clash.
they'd definitely work together, shay was righteous in his decision to leave the assassins, and connor has found ways to sympathize with templars/templar ideologies, connor would definitely recognize shay as someone who was done wrong by those he trusted

I'm not sure about pairing up the most similar protagonists, in terms of skills and physical attributes - not ideology. It would be optimal to pair up protagonists who complement each other by making up for what the other cannot do as efficiently or effectively.
I could totally see Desmond and Callum working together in an alternative modern day.
Lo Sparviero and Aguilar is straight up a pair that could have existed, iirc they both lived in the same era.

To complete each other,it s another story...For an example,i think it s a good idea to put Altair-Edward (brain-muscle +agility/stealth for Altair and Edward and they are also iconic characters in this franchise).They are balanced.
It can be 'savage' to see Jacob and Arno working together,or Deimos and Shay,it can be dangerous to fight against them,but it s not balanced.
But some of those teams are good!

What about Ezio and Connor? I feel like Ezio and Connor would be a pretty solid duo. Ezio with the skills, stealth, and intelligence. Connor with the combat, and resilience. plus Connor can learn alot from Ezio as well :p

With that pairing you did with Connor, I wouldn't pick Bayek, I would actually pick Arno for that one as to me, they seem like the perfect partners and they would be able to fight alongside each other while also balancing out their weaknesses. Arno is more on the brains and skills while Connor is more about brute strength and charging ahead. So, it fits.
I'll join in on the thought experiment.
Personally, I favor complementarity before all else, both in skills and in goals. I aim to see how the characters would complement eachothers and how well they would work together. Hence, my personal favorite would be:
Aveline de grandpré and Adéwalé. Beside being from dlc games, they are both angaged in the fight against slavery, each with very different yet compatible aproches.
Aveline is subbtle and cunning. With her charms and social status, she can infiltrate local nobility to gain informations and assassinate key targets. She can also meddle in with the slave to organise them for an upcomming rebellion.
That's when Adéwalé comes in with his ship, gunning down the milicia and arming the slaves willing to rise up. With Aveline's intels, his attacks would be even more precise and deadly and would likely cause far less casualties among the slaves.
Together, they would be the hope of all slaves and the nightmare of their masters. Their operations may even develope outside of the carabeans. Eventually, there wouldn't be a single slave owner on america's east coast who wouldn't live in mortal fear of this freedom fighters duo.
Not related to the vid, but what do yall want from the assassins creed black flag remeke ? I personally want a more further developed navel combat and more relistic, make the crew od the jackdaw actual characters, get to spend more time with blackbeard and stede bonnet etc, and also even more development edwrads frendship with his freinds, have it where james kidd actually had taught him social stealth and stuff, make the world more developed, have it where theres certain trade roughts you can go to a pillage ships, and male the game look like it did in the citamatic trailer.
I want to make a video on this, but I hope they reduce the tailing missions lol 😂
now I would love to see this in one of your videos, but some people might frown on this, but I think Edward Kenway I played his game many times it’s one of my favorites and shay Cormack would make a perfect duo. There are many reasons I have behind that, but I would love to see it in one of your videos and see how you explain it. Now, yes, they are in two different orders, but think about it.

For me personally the duo that would be unstoppable and legendary would be the grandfather and grandson duo Edward Kenway and Connor Kenway
I feel like Edward and Shay would be really strong. They would be unstoppable at sea and they re both really skilled in stealth and fighting

Another good duo would be connor and edwrad, edward js a very skilled at navel combat, and both are extremely skilled fighters, they both know how to hunt and parkour very well, they be unstoppable.

The most unstoppable duo is Evior and Connor also 2 of the most hated I don’t see it that way though they are both my fav characters in the franchise and they could possibly be related and who knows Evior could been the one to form the colonial assassins know bein the one to first make it to America
I mean, considering that it's been heavily hinted that Haytham could've easily beat Connor at any given time, I beg to differ on him not being the best in combat. He most definitely can hang in there with some of the most skilled Assassins in this video.

@@Aressolostheverse4574 Those “gameplay mechanics” are Connor’s Memories, a gameplay mechanic are those disguises in Unity. Also he could fend off bears before he was an assassin and it’s bears he has to deal with but also wolves and stags which often charge straight at him to which he can stop them in their tracks with only his hands. On top of that Connor is 6ft tall.

If you still wanna be an absolute bitch an about it, then there’s hunting mission where Connor defeats animals that are more powerful than their common counterparts two of which consist of a stag and a bear.
