I feel like some of the harder rooms in mauve could be interesting to explain. They make a lot of sense, once you know the movement tech, but for newer players I can imagine they just look like you're gaining speed out of thin air
God I love mauve so much. I just got past the room with the water in the metal and I'm having a blast. Switching to keyboard from ps5 controller helped so much because I can could rebind multiple jump and corner boost buttons into a more ergonomic position. Actually got me to the point where I could do the broken campsite room three times in a row, which one day would have seemed impossible to me.
9:18 whilst grabbing an object that is moving upwards does give you a tiny bump, the jellies in a jelly ladder are not moving upwards. Instead jelly ladders rely on a mechanic that theo doesn't have, where if the player has any amount of upwards speed smaller than -105 (-105
this has been pointed out to me, i used the in map explanation for my video explanation and confirmed with zkb if it was accurate afterwards so i assumed it was fine, will probably have to contact zkb about that aswell then and to have that corrected in game, sadly i cant really correct the video now anymore though
Yes, please make this a series, Parrot! It's always so cool seeing people clear hard rooms, but I sometimes don't quite understand why these rooms are that hard in the first place. This would help to understand these quite a bit more. :)
room explanation suggestions! dashless+ room 24 flag 2 or flag 7 of SJ GMHS 2.5k-3 Any mauve room (as mentioned by another commenter) (Not a room, but Ecl1ipsed’s railcannon save in their gmhs golden run) Mawn heart room
this series is super cool! i dont know where else to learn all of these GM mechanics, and seeing you explain them like this is so helpful. would love to see this as a series!
I would love to see this become a series, I usually have no idea what's going on in rooms like this so it's awesome to hear them explained!! (And you're amazing at explaining them, too)
I would love to see a series of this! I find some of the harder Celeste rooms to be so intriguing, but most of the time don’t quite understand how the mechanics/gameplay works. So it would be very nice to see that, I also just found this video to be really entertaining.
This entire video is why I both love and fear Celeste. There's so much to learn and I'm grateful you've elaborated how you and other GMs can do what they do. 🙏🙏
I would love to see this turn into a series! i dont have any room suggestions tho as im only an advanced player, but i still find GM+ rooms and their tricks interesting
Good luck 202!! I’ve beaten a few of these screens and many that are harder but I still consider my farewell golden clear my greatest accomplishment in Celeste. It’s a true test of persistence, but you got this!!!
Honestly I think we need more of these because it's pretty hard to analyse when you don't know all the specific tech and the celeste community is very small so these kind of videos are too rare imo.
This format is so much fun to watch! I’d love to see an explanation for a room from Nelumbo or other similar hyper speed map. So much is happening in those screens at speeds way too fast to keep up with for most people
I would LOVE to see a part 2 parrot these videos are so fun and help players who dont know much about the game (like me) understand these monsterous rooms
Love the video! if you make this a series, I know LXVI venus would take forever but it's such a "harder than it looks" room other than the fact that it's very long.
Venus explained imoimo Well only if you find motivation and id watch any room explained video you put out But still venus is a personal favourite of mine and the venus explained video is one ive been anticipating for quite some time now
Yay amazing vid! The breakdowns you do a really fun, since while I understand all the concepts (thanks SJ gym) I can’t easily identify then in fast-paced gameplay
I'd really love to see this as a series, yes! However one thing I found lacking that was in the 2k-3 video was the map+screen introductions where you took a moment to explain what the map is. The screens in this video feel a bit less significant imo as a result.
8:36 fun fact: you don't actually have to double theo climb here, if you theo climb with one theo only there are a few pixels from where you can throw theo into the electricity and hit the coin but still be able to grab him from outside, allowing you to throw him into the other one as well
Could you talk in detail about the "new hardest map" announced in the last celeste direct if/when it's out? (and after clearing it which will probably take some time if there's GM+3)
I’d love to see that too, but if you’re really curious for a quick explanation, there’s a video by the person that cleared it that goes over why the room is so difficult (UA-cam won’t let me comment links so just search Celeste Magma Maelstrom The Epic Carrot 7 and it should show up as the top result)
@@nebulae5236 Thanks but that doesn't look like the map I was thinking about for reference it's the one in the last celeste direct at 14:13 and I believe it's named Superstratus
its not really based of tech or anything specific, its kinda is just a thing of feel, after playing a lot of maps you kinda just get a decent idea around what difficulty certain maps are, the difficulty system kinda just keeps going after gm as gm+1 green/yellow/red, then gm+2 green/yellow/red but there is nothing really defining them its just kinda based of community opinions and feel
oh for comfort reasons i changed my bindings for that room, ZL which is normally just jump was jump + down, B which is normally just jump was jump + grab
Idea: Do different levels of explanation, for example you could explain it to someone as if they were at a higher skill level and do more complex analysis
It would be nice if you completed Amber Terminus C. It seems like I'm stuck forever at the last room of this map due to its STUPID buuble spam. Like, if you spam too slow, you die... if too fast you also die....
I feel like some of the harder rooms in mauve could be interesting to explain. They make a lot of sense, once you know the movement tech, but for newer players I can imagine they just look like you're gaining speed out of thin air

Mature Grape+ could be sick too

I love how parrot's reactions to beating these rooms are all just basically "ok cool I did it, yay!"
Bro did a ‘i verified the golden lets go’
Yes, please make this a series, Parrot! It's always so cool seeing people clear hard rooms, but I sometimes don't quite understand why these rooms are that hard in the first place. This would help to understand these quite a bit more. :)
room explanation suggestions!
dashless+ room 24
flag 2 or flag 7 of SJ GMHS
2.5k-3
Any mauve room (as mentioned by another commenter)
(Not a room, but Ecl1ipsed’s railcannon save in their gmhs golden run)
Mawn heart room
these are some good ones il definitely cover at least a few of these down the line
this series is super cool! i dont know where else to learn all of these GM mechanics, and seeing you explain them like this is so helpful. would love to see this as a series!
The big reveal rooms are so silly omg
as someone currently on flag 6 im scared
i love maps that just spam the most random mechanics but end up being one of the best maps in celest
when the reveal is big
I would love to see this become a series, I usually have no idea what's going on in rooms like this so it's awesome to hear them explained!! (And you're amazing at explaining them, too)

Very well explained! I would love to see this be turned into a series! :3
those were some sick tricks i "must" "say"
I would love to see this turn into a series! i dont have any room suggestions tho as im only an advanced player, but i still find GM+ rooms and their tricks interesting
this video was actually really interesting so would definitely watch if you make more of these
also tartarus jumpscare 8:01
Cool video! as a player struggling for 202 I've never thought that these gm+ rooms can have so many details and mechanics to beat.
Good luck 202!! I’ve beaten a few of these screens and many that are harder but I still consider my farewell golden clear my greatest accomplishment in Celeste. It’s a true test of persistence, but you got this!!!
this is such a cool concept, I love seeing someone more experienced than me explaining what happens in their clears
I love explanations of janky tech! Those floors in The White Hole are absolute comedy :3
So much is happening in those screens at speeds way too fast to keep up with for most people
I'd really love to see you explain gddh final, as that room is the literal definition of 'harder than it looks'. Nice video!
I would LOVE to see a part 2 parrot these videos are so fun and help players who dont know much about the game (like me) understand these monsterous rooms
Really cool, would loce to see a series on this.
This video was really cool, I know some celeste tech, but not all of it and find it really cool, would love to see more of these!
Upvoted for Suwako's theme as the end !
Love the video! if you make this a series, I know LXVI venus would take forever but it's such a "harder than it looks" room other than the fact that it's very long.
i really really wanna do venus and ive promised i would a long time ago aswell so that will happen
@@ParrotDash Thanks, I'm looking forward to it! :D
I absolutely love these explainer videos! Great way to expand my knowledge a bit :)
Venus explained imoimo
Well only if you find motivation and id watch any room explained video you put out
But still venus is a personal favourite of mine and the venus explained video is one ive been anticipating for quite some time now
i really wanna do the venus explained video the moment i finish the sj series! since its quite a big project and i wanna get that out of the way first
The tech explanations are great! I'd love to see more of them
Yay amazing vid! The breakdowns you do a really fun, since while I understand all the concepts (thanks SJ gym) I can’t easily identify then in fast-paced gameplay
This is such a great content idea!!! Hope this reaches a lot of people, it's a really good watch.
Have been enjoying every video you upload ever since I found your channel. Keep up the good work!
I'd really love to see this as a series, yes! However one thing I found lacking that was in the 2k-3 video was the map+screen introductions where you took a moment to explain what the map is. The screens in this video feel a bit less significant imo as a result.
This was really fun to watch! :3
I would love more of these
Please make this a series, it lets me experience hard rooms without actually getting that good at celeste
neat, always a good day when parrot uploads
Yes would love to see more of this sort of thing. Been loving the videos and the streams
banger video, would love to see more, people have already given some great suggestions
these rooms are so satisfying to beat, banger video
I would love to see this as a series
This is sick we need more of thiss
Oh baby, wake up, new parrot video dropped :3
Banger video, also for next video you should cover a really high quality and fun to play map named magma maelstrom imo :Clueless:
omg yes please make more! Magnetic Dawn B side rooms would be super sick to analyze, especially the heart room
i was very much thinking of doing the heart room of magnetic dawn b side at some point that seems like a really cool one to do honestly
PLEASEE TURN THUS INTO A SERIES

thats boring though , , ,
you should release stickers of your little parrot icons
would be kinda awesome..
it's crazy how despite how hard these rooms are parrot can still beat them faster than some rooms took casual me in 9a
Great video parrot
I would like to see more of these!
Banger video. What ever happened do the Venus explained video? That should be in part 2
ended up being too busy with strawberry jam and other stuff that i havent gotten around to it, but that will be the next one for sure yeah
@@ParrotDash yay
Can't wait for part 2
I think Election D R8 or R10 would be cool to see explained. Also great video
more of these would be great !!
me: “madeline will never ballin”
mad: 8:40
me: **spits cereal**
please make this a series
I like how your Dutchness makes you pronounce Theo like that
yes please turn this into a series would the venus explained video be part of the series?
yes it will !

That will still happen dont worry! I just want to finish the strawberry jam series first before getting into another big project like that
Some moce rooms or fundercity would cool to watch
This is great you should do more pease
Yes I would watch part 2
finally i know ultra thank you
i just realised that there is a deodorant that says "serenity" on it and uses the pink-white-light blue-purple color scale on my sister's desk
I want more of this
I'm waiting for the next series
Please more of this
let me get caught up on the 9d progress videos first then i can maybe cook something up
It is slightly funny you explained rooms in the map where there are inbuilt explanations lol
Theo being in a death trap in that second one... :')
Surprise! 🤔zzle!
i know people have said this a billion times, but i love these explanation videos, is there anything similar in the works?
So cool I hope you a part 2
Hello! I have a question, how do you rank difficulties above gm? Like what techniques go to which difficulty. I really want to know!
its not really based of tech or anything specific, its kinda is just a thing of feel, after playing a lot of maps you kinda just get a decent idea around what difficulty certain maps are, the difficulty system kinda just keeps going after gm as gm+1 green/yellow/red, then gm+2 green/yellow/red but there is nothing really defining them its just kinda based of community opinions and feel

theovator.... just take the stairs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You should do dashless+ final screen next
im dashing my parrot so hard rn holy shit
please be a series
very cool concepte
What are your button bindings? I'm really curious on how to drop theo without using down like you did on the last room you showed.
oh for comfort reasons i changed my bindings for that room, ZL which is normally just jump was jump + down, B which is normally just jump was jump + grab
im a little late but id love to see explanations of horror vacui and maybe gddh
Me when saw Erebus and Tartarus in the description: *GEOMETRY DASH*
grow up
@@mandypocalypse Alright, im 60, now what
Saying that the video being 10 minutes is "long", is silly. I would watch this for hours!
i wanna listen about 5ct third screen
6:04 - oh, is that how you dhyper w/ theo?
correct! the solar express for example uses this so you can dream hyper while holding theo
the big reveal lfggg
Does anyone know what the song at the beginning of the video was.
yoshis island final boss theme
Thanks
