I managed to get two of your sound banks loaded but wanted to add a third one after purchasing, Now there are some Updates, I assume this will reset the Hardware. So this is fantastic. Still might have to watch a few times. Thanks, Maik
You forgot to show how to load each one of bundle patches of the 3 Sound set multi-samples that you first imported into the builder, now load each of the 3 library patches into the librarian. Also if you load only one song of multi-samples what do you load from the librarian side? I realize you did show how to highlight multiple sets from the librarian and delete, but you didn’t show one at a time how to load each sound library patch bundle into the librarian.
I bought your soundset bundle last year to explore the limits of the wavestate. You really pushes it Maik! I like that. (The 50MB bank memory is a crazy thing by korg. It makes no sense.) It would be nice to learn your workflow creating multisamples for wavestate. I think you use samplerobot, right? Keep up your impressive work and exploration! An thank you for sharing it. Wunderbar!
I have an OG unit and was chuffed when I 1st got it, I was expecting Korg to up the ante with the SE and have a better UI, unfortunately this wasn't the case, so my OG unit is packed away, one day I may play or sell it. It's an interesting synth, I just hate having to tether it to a PC to get the best it of it, and that' where Korg could have made the SE so much better. Your work is amazing so kudos to that.
Hey Maik, hope you are well. Could you possibly do a tutorial on how to create smooth transitions between sample steps. I have been struggling to do this and even when choosing very similar sounding samples I still get that fade in fade out wave state sound. There is nothing on Reddit or UA-cam showing this either. I’m trying to make an evolving pad where you can’t really hear the distinct samples. Love the channel keep well man.
A trick I’ve been working with recently is using the shape lane (to control volume between steps) and the step sequence lane (which can be set to use the shape lane and then be used to modulate other parameters) together to fade the filter between steps or to control glide time (in the mod matrix) between specific notes (pitch lane) in the sequence. So I set the timing lane to a long cross fade (less than step length to allow smooth transitions), with long steps and then use the shape lane to further smooth the transition by modulating the filter. Seems making a video on this might be useful. 🤔

My updates will not reset the hardware. I only cleaned up some files for a smoother installation

Is there a factory reset for the Wavestate? I forgot to save the original factory samples and bank.
No there isn't. There is no need to save the factory samples. They are protected anyway.

You will have to experiment with the crossfade function and with the xfade time.

Banks :Synthesizer Legends / 80s Synthpop Vol. 2 /JP Essentials and others Banks
It is in the system of the WaveState. As soon as you load another bank the old one will be erased from memory.

Too complicated, I'm no good on pc or laptop . So if I bought a pack to download I would lose my money . I would never be able to find the download .
If you can’t use a computer you probably shouldn’t have a Wavestate
