If you would have theorised about the past, you should have used the third contitional. "If the Earth had been flat, cats would have pushed everything of the edge." Also it's written _of_ the edge not _off_ the edge. Just to make it simplier for you, if you are theorising about past you use third conditional (verb in past participle form + would have + verb in past participle form) and if you are theorising about present you should use second conditional (verb in past simple form + would + verb in present simple form)

I just started poking around these videos a couple days ago, and feeling a little guilty about it (I am here just to mock). I knew that flat earthers existed, but the forest thing is new to me. I really don't know what to say about that. I mean, ok, sure, if you're gullible enough and so cynical as to believe everything is a conspiracy, thinking the earth is flat is sorta understandable. But forests? Flat earthers have never been to a forest?

Phil Rabe: I wish that were true...but I actually talked to a guy for a couple days who said he was a cargo captain for the last 25-30 years and it was his years of navigating the sea that helped him to believe the Earth was flat. His reason, because he claimed that a sextant, an instrument used at sea to measure the angular distance between two visible objects, wouldn't work unless the ground and the horizon is level. Therefore, Earth is Flat because a sextant works. He was sort of correct...it does need a level horizon line to accurately find those angles, but what he and many other Flat Earthers miss is the scales they're dealing with. The Earth is MASSIVE compared to us. From our microscopic perspective, the horizon will appear level enough for a sextant to work just fine. And it doesn't even need to be absolutely level for the sextant to work, there is a margin of error in which to work from...all the sextant does is it gives you a rough idea of where you are...it doesn't give you an exact coordinate...being a sea captain for as long as he has claimed, he would know that. So believe it or not, there are people in these professions who are Flat Earth believers...and a few of them only help to make things worse. Unless of course he was lying...and he wasn't the Captain or even an officer, but maybe just a ship hand....but I've seen some pretty dumb people in positions of higher authority before...so I wouldn't be surprised. xD

Earth is huge, and if it is indeed flat, that means the circumference would have to be extremely large too. Taking into consideration the huge circumference of the Earth, hiring guards to protect the circumference would cost well of billions of dollars, and clearly over their budget of 55 million. If you look into the night sky on a clear night, you can see satellites moving across the sky. They look like untwinkling stars that move slowly across the sky. Oddly enough, it looks like they trace an arc. Sort of like they were orbiting a sphere 😁 I'm not sure if this works in cities where there is a great deal of light pollution.

At Midnight on any night, have a person in North America take a picture from a mountain away from the city with their phone of the stars above their head. Have a person in South America do the same thing. Then send each other the pictures. IF the images see the same stars, then the Earth is FLAT. IF they see DIFFERENT Stars, then the Earth is round. All it takes is a cell phone camera to end the discussion. You can do the SAME THING using Norther Europe and Souther Africa or Northern Asian countries and Australia.

Well technically solar eclipses would not proove that earth is round, only that moon and sun are round, moon eclipses on the other hand would do it perfectly but like the other guy said, the moon phases are more than enough and they are there for all us to see with our very eyes.

There's something else going on with the moon. There's a plasma dome above us that is mirroring the Earth and the moon is a map of all the Earths that exist outside of ours. Our flat earth is much bigger than we've been told and due to time dilation we can see the craters on the moon from light that is bouncing back at slower speeds. Each crater on the moon represent all of the Earths. How do we know which one of those craters represent our Flat Earth? We look into the sky and watch the stars in a time lapse and we notice one star that never moves in the heavens, which is the northern star Polaris. When you zoom into that star and you'll see something that resembles a map of the Flat Earth in the distance because it's a mirrored reflection of our Earth from above. It shows the Sun reflecting light onto the dome and bouncing back which makes it look as if there are two Suns. The 2nd sun is a mirror image of the real Sun. The light that bounces back from the plasma dome will illuminate the opposite side and that's what creates eclipses.

Phil Rabe: I wish that were true...but I actually talked to a guy for a couple days who said he was a cargo captain for the last 25-30 years and it was his years of navigating the sea that helped him to believe the Earth was flat. His reason, because he claimed that a sextant, an instrument used at sea to measure the angular distance between two visible objects, wouldn't work unless the ground and the horizon is level. Therefore, Earth is Flat because a sextant works. He was sort of correct...it does need a level horizon line to accurately find those angles, but what he and many other Flat Earthers miss is the scales they're dealing with. The Earth is MASSIVE compared to us. From our microscopic perspective, the horizon will appear level enough for a sextant to work just fine. And it doesn't even need to be absolutely level for the sextant to work, there is a margin of error in which to work from...all the sextant does is it gives you a rough idea of where you are...it doesn't give you an exact coordinate...being a sea captain for as long as he has claimed, he would know that. So believe it or not, there are people in these professions who are Flat Earth believers...and a few of them only help to make things worse. Unless of course he was lying...and he wasn't the Captain or even an officer, but maybe just a ship hand....but I've seen some pretty dumb people in positions of higher authority before...so I wouldn't be surprised. xD

Earth is huge, and if it is indeed flat, that means the circumference would have to be extremely large too. Taking into consideration the huge circumference of the Earth, hiring guards to protect the circumference would cost well of billions of dollars, and clearly over their budget of 55 million. Self navigation records, are indeed there, with many people having already done it, and there are actually a lot of them, so your inability to find them kind of perplexes me. There are also many people who have been to the Antarctic with records, and if you really wanted to check you could go there yourself.
Water cannot bend, because there really is nothing to bend. Water has no shape, so the idea of it bending seems pretty absurd. If you've ever seen a boat come in off the horizon, you may notice the boat seem to come out of the water, which seem like a round globe. Again you must take into account the size of the Earth itself. Earth is so big that it makes horizons seem straight, and 60, 70, 90, or 100 miles seem like a pretty small distance. Gravity keeps water to Earth, and if not tell, or better show me how we humans stick to the ground, and how the Earth can't just go upside down to throw us all into space. Show me your proof.

If you look into the night sky on a clear night, you can see satellites moving across the sky. They look like untwinkling stars that move slowly across the sky. Oddly enough, it looks like they trace an arc. Sort of like they were orbiting a sphere 😁 I'm not sure if this works in cities where there is a great deal of light pollution.

At Midnight on any night, have a person in North America take a picture from a mountain away from the city with their phone of the stars above their head. Have a person in South America do the same thing. Then send each other the pictures. IF the images see the same stars, then the Earth is FLAT. IF they see DIFFERENT Stars, then the Earth is round. All it takes is a cell phone camera to end the discussion. You can do the SAME THING using Norther Europe and Souther Africa or Northern Asian countries and Australia.

There's something else going on with the moon. There's a plasma dome above us that is mirroring the Earth and the moon is a map of all the Earths that exist outside of ours. Our flat earth is much bigger than we've been told and due to time dilation we can see the craters on the moon from light that is bouncing back at slower speeds. Each crater on the moon represent all of the Earths.
How do we know which one of those craters represent our Flat Earth? We look into the sky and watch the stars in a time lapse and we notice one star that never moves in the heavens, which is the northern star Polaris.
When you zoom into that star and you'll see something that resembles a map of the Flat Earth in the distance because it's a mirrored reflection of our Earth from above.
It shows the Sun reflecting light onto the dome and bouncing back which makes it look as if there are two Suns. The 2nd sun is a mirror image of the real Sun. The light that bounces back from the plasma dome will illuminate the opposite side and that's what creates eclipses.
