It seems it is a step up from general game settings. Could enhance Five Parsecs from Home and similar settings as well as the system it is used for. You are great for finding these books!
Very nice, I especially like the Interstellar Mega Mart. Sounds like a nice nod to the Backrooms while still being its own thing. I really should look into this game.
I was waiting for a mothership Compendium. So many zines. And they're all good. Wait.. is it a collection of existing content? I don't have them all so I don't know
Love the channel. I'm on the hunt for a deep and complex solo RPG that involves a lot of paperwork. Not journaling or prose writing, but more filling out forms/character sheets/inventories/maps, etc. Any recommendations? Thanks!
I love the Mothership system in general, but can't figure out why there's no representation of being good at interaction with others, like charisma, persuasion, bargain, bluff, leadership, etc. Should this be 'Linguistics' skill?
@@philalethes Even original old school DnD Charisma. I do hear what you're saying, and that's why I never allow just a social interaction roll with no context. I make them roleplay the encounter, and the better they do, the lower the difficulty of the roll. But at least there would be some way to have a character be good at something you aren't in real life (and, unlike Strength, would impact your ability to play the game).

Good googly golly gosh the moment you opened the book I could tell the folks who put it together know their craft. Look at that LAYOUT.
This is the 3rd time I see this video, as a Graphical Designer I learned so much of this product and your video was the best analyzing it.
Thanks so much-that means a lot coming from a graphic designer. Appreciate it.
I know I could download the PDFs. But I don't want to do that until I get my gosh-darned game set. GOSH DARN IT ALL.

Gosh this looks awesome. I’ve never played Mothership but this definitely puts it on my radar.
The book really is a design object of beauty (if you’re into that sort of thing…) :)
Great flip-through/review -- thanks

Looks great 😊

It’s actually a compendium of all new content, which is also all really good.

Try the Cepheus Engine Solo book, I would suggest playing a Scout campaign. Detailing world's and such is great fun.
D100 Dungeon with the world builder and various other supplements for harvesting and crafting etc involves what I think of as significant paperwork.
Is that a knitting needle??? Just curious ..
It’s a crochet hook.
Looks like a fantastic book, I would prefer it in a larger format though not a fan of these small format books
Different strokes! A5 and A6 are my preferred format. Easy to cart around in a kit.

It's old school, friend, you roleplay this stuff.
