🎼DESCRIPTION:
Here it is, the longest cover I've ever recorded! That, combined with the emotional weight that this song carries raised the recording difficulty to an all-time high. And If you've been following me on Twitter, you know that these were the lesser dreadful problems I had to deal with to create this video ;_; Alright. I'm finished whining. After a month's worth of sweat and tears, it's finally finished: my rendition of Rem's Wishing from Re:Zero!
With Inori voice being the most prominent in this song, I decided to pay special attention to how her singing changes throughout the song to add in every variation (rhythm changes, melody changes, harmony parts, etc.). All of these were mixed in with my own variations too, of course. For the closing part of my arrangement, I decided to turn the original song's harp-like background texture into harmonics, which created a sound very similar to a music box's (something I thought this song would sound especially good on). And with that, I ended it with a fittingly bittersweet Emaj7sus2 chord.
Well, arranging this was surely physically and mentally draining. I'll see if I can arrange any more songs from this season. Maybe I'll work on Shigatsu or the Key melody... Or Koe no Katachi... Kimi no Na wa? Very unsure at the moment, so I'll just update y'all once I start on something.

Man, I have found drums and piano players doing anime songs cover, and now I finally meet one guitarist. And you write the tabs, and even arrange everything in just one guitar. A lonely otaku guitarist with average ears like me is very grateful.

Thanks UA-cam for recommending this I guess.. After quite a few years since this show aired, I still feel depressed remembering what happened at episode 18. Rem and Subaru's conversation, I guess will always touch my heart. Just hearing this song made me remember just how many times I've repetitively listened to the vocalized version.

I enjoyed the anime (just finished it yesterday). I've been thinking about either continuing on with the web novel or light novel. As you state, the anime follows the light novel, so it makes me curious just how much of a difference the light and web novel are from each other (unless the light novel also follows the web novel, but hasn't caught up that far yet).
I've also thought about reading the manga, but then again, it seems that it might be best not to, since it seems like I'll get "more bang for my buck" with the light novel or web novel.

This is going to be one of the hardest arrangements iv tried learn while still being very much a beginner with fingerstyle I can't wait to start.

I have to say, this cover that you make is really nice indeed. Not to mention the sound quality, which make this cover really professionally made! And hey! 29K Sub, brah :D
All of the cover you make are high class ones, and it gets more complex the more that you make, and not to mention this song came out 2-3 weeks ago. Maybe you're forcing yourself too much to make this cover as fast as you can, and if that's the case, i think you shouldn't force yourself so much.
And btw, i can't do this awesome things like you do, and i don't know much about music in general, but if you want to go professional, you should start consider that now. I mean, 29K is a lot. -3-
