      Tucker cut out what needed to be replaced,but make it even so that the new plate fits perfectly without having to make an odd shape

    Tucker should be proud of the work he did on the bucket. That was a great result. Also getting more comfortable in front of the camera is good for him.
    I hope we see more from Tucker and the projects he gets. He is a fast learner.

    I was a weldor/fabricator for 30 years. Tucker if you made any mistakes on this bucket you learned information that will help you do a better job on the next one. What I know today I learned by making a lot of mistakes in my early years. Always remember what you did right and GO AFTER IT SON!!!! AL B.😊

    Tucker wear a breathing helmet No 1 priority take care of yourself, all that smoke and gas can cause issues later on Please take care of yourself

      I believe he had a air cleaner device (not sure of the official name for it) on his belt, located in the middle of his back, and an air hose leading up to the welding hood. The video footage of him welding the plate down.

      @@user-yr5ee9vm9e naw, not an idiot.., I saw it on him quite a few videos back. Good deal on getting him outfitted like that, this early in his career. Those things are not cheap, and it is just now that they are realizing the hazards of that off gassing.

    Tucker had a fun day of learning . Some projects you just got to go piece by piece and learn how to find your separation line in the welds to see how it was assembled for reassembly . Great job👍

    Thanks for sharing your thoughts, ideas and videos. Tucker did a great job in this video, you can definitely tell he’s his own worst critic, should help him progress to being a top class welder. It takes a lot of skill to see where there is room for improvement, as long as you don’t get complacent you should go far. Wishing you and your family the best.

    Hello Clinton, Tucker did an amazing thing in today's video! He was standing at the bucket not knowing what to do and knowing you had faith in him to do it anyway and he did it. He started on one side and just kept going till it was done, proving once again "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree"! Well done Tucker,I had faith you could do it, all you had to do is start.     Tucker, it is apparent your dad has confidence in your abilities. So what it he gets upset if you made a mistake. If you don't make mistakes, you are not doing anything. Instead, make it a learning experience if you did something wrong. Everything done incorrectly can always be undone. BTW; SMILE!!! Show the viewers what a nice looking young fellow looks like!

    Tucker your doing just fine. learning and taking junk apart is as important as welding back together. this would have been as big a mess if dad did it, he has other stuff he needs to accomplish.keep going it'll be fine.

    Tucker, I’m pretty sure that your Dad will be proud of you if you do the best you can do. Whether you did it the “Best” way or not doesn’t matter. Just do your best always and life will reward you! I cannot be more proud of my two sons! They tell me often that they must do their best. They do that every day, and are successful in life!     I am proud there is still a son that is willing to follow his Dad's footsteps in today's world. Keep it up Tucker. Hard work doesn't hurt anyone it just makes you stronger. Plus you have something to be proud of. My wife was a school teacher for 38 years. She beleves in trade schools. Your dad is the best trade school you can get especially with a pay check with out a college debt.
    Keep it up. It will pay off for you in the long run.

    Tucker, don't let the job intimidate you. You learn by doing in the trades. You just learned a lot and the next time it comes up (and it will) you will have a better idea of how to attack the problem and get it done even faster. All in all it looks like you had your arms pretty much around the situation from the start. You inched your way into it so you could see what you were getting yourself into before digging in hard. You used your head. It's hard to find good tradesmen anymore who think through the problem before jumping in. I'm an Engineer, and I can tell you one thing, it's the tradesmen that make engineers look good. We make stupid designs, you guys make the job come together.
    Nice job!

    I love that Hitachi push clamp. I've needed one several times. Tucker is a smart young man. He is a welder. Its different than just welding. I promise you. They hire people that weld that aren't welders.

    Tucker Good Job. Lots yet to learn but you have been blessed to have a great boss/dad that is paying you to learn. He allows you to make mistakes and LEARN. Enjoy it while you can. The real world is a life long job. added. Let alone have a cnc plasma table. If you dad was not a good businessman. He may have allowed you a bit more time. To manually layout the plate. It was not but in the last 5 or so years they have become a staple in most shops. Be good, learn a trade and make a great life for yourself.
