  • Remember how in my last CRT Spotlight video I spoke about how I view my Sony 24FV300 to be the one set that I would keep over all others in my collection? Well yeah, that was my conclusion if I approached the question rationally. I am an emotional creature though, and the problem is that I am so deeply in love with this classic Panasonic tube television, even though it is more limited on features and inputs than that Trinitron I would much rather keep this tube forever.
I adore this style of CRT, something about the big VHF/UHF tuning knobs on the face and the elegant faux woodgrain printing on the sides of the body just scream "classic tube TV" at me, and I am so lucky to have found this Panasonic because I think of it as being the poster child for these kinds of televisions with how perfect it is. And as if to put icing on the cake, the image quality is shockingly good too!
Come join me on a tour of this marvelous television, while I frantically attempt to record my script during the brief periods of silence between passing jetliners, since Bradley airport here in Connecticut likes routing their departure lanes directly over my home whenever I'm trying to do voiceover ;)
