Her story is my story. Im 36 and live with pain daily and unable to work due to debilitating pain for 8 days a month. My fertility, career and dreams of having a baby were taken from me after being gaslight my medical professionals for years. I was a technician in medical and gaslit for being sick and calling out of work. My family and friends didnt belive me. Society doesnt like sick people is what i learned and i dont even complain about it as much as i should from years of being told im just anxious. About to have a 2nd surgery and these procedures are very physically taxing
I was recently diagnosed with Endometriosis, Adenomyosis, and pelvic floor disorder. I completely understand her story. Thankfully I found a doctor who specializes in Endometriosis. Hoping for the best.
Yep, I suffered more than 18 years. Sometimes I had to crawl to the bathroom, couldn't eat for 2 weeks every month. I'd have to call off work or leave early. 😢 My uterus, right tube and ovary and intestines were fused together.
I remembered being told I had Endometriosis in 1998 after having a ovarian cyst removed. I was 24 years old then. I was always in so much pain the first three days of my friend. I had to stay in bed and take Percocet. The pain from endometriosis and fear of not having children was hard. I had to take lupron Depot shots for 6 months to put my body in a menopausal state to try to help with this situation after I was diagnosed. It didn't help! For years I was in pain and other medical problems flared up. Endometriosis will rob of a your quality of life and relationships. March 2022, I had a complete hysterectomy due to a cyst the size of a watermelon. Finally, no more pain! I just wish more doctors and people will listen to us when we speak about what we feel like inside of our bodies.
I've had Endo as long as I can remember. No one knew what it was when I started to look into it at 21. I ultimately had to do 5 ivfs to have a son and a hysterectomy after at 40. And I have hip and lower back issues now. It does steal your life. Periods are events with back pain, heavy periods and bowel issues. I've had several surgeries to remove the growths and cysts from my ovaries.
Thanks for sharing. I sincerely appreciate it. Please be grateful that you were at least able to bring one child to full-term. If you have not already done so, have genetic testing administered.
It is so hard... the pain is awful... infertility... severe pelvic pain...you can hardly work and people dont take it seriously... it is just period pains... omg... much love from Barbados 🇧🇧
Had a hysterectomy at an early age due to endometriosis - best thing I ever did. My back pain ended and my problems with urination stopped. It can cause a host of problems.
I nearly cried with her. I dread my period every month because of endometriosis, and have recently started feeling some symptoms on other days of the month. Spending my free time trying to learn more about this condition and things I can do naturally to alleviate the symptoms before my surgery...
Thank you so much for this opportunity to speak about this sensitive topic, I am 1 in 10 and 1 in 5 it’s rare to have both Endometriosis and Adenomyosis 🇹🇹🇨🇦 Toronto Canada 🍁
I’ve been trying to seek medical help but have been pushed aside for endometriosis. I have such terrible pelvic pain and a persistent bloated stomach, but since my scans came back normal they don’t care. It’s terrible. I have daily pain and I’m not taken seriously. I don’t know what to do anymore.
It's crazy how I haven't being diagnosed yet I'm I'm in so much pain monthly. What I recently discovered is that good herbal remedies work, but u have to drink those herbs every month. When you n don't boil those herbs u get the same pain... It's hard. I hate period. Periodtttt

I am shocked because my mom was diagnosed with this in 1976 I am so so sorry for your horrible journey!

I left the best part out! I was blessed with two beautiful children. A girl in 2003 and boy born on my birthday on 2010.

Endometriosis……I have no words, just no words. May God help us through this.
Amen 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
Endometriosis and Adenomyosis robbed me of having more children. By the grace of God, I was able to carry one pregnancy to full term.
