TACKLESHARE PROGRAM
TackleShare is a program of the Ontario Federation of Anglers and Hunters (OFAH), with Ontario Power Generation as title sponsor. We are proud to deliver this important program that encourages fishing as a fun, family activity that can be done anywhere in Ontario while staying within your family bubble.
Wherever you fish, remember to follow signs and “Stay Clear, Stay Safe” as water near dams and hydro stations can turn dangerous in a heartbeat.

Absolutely charming little series!! I’ve learned so much! Greetings from Saskatchewan!! Though you should’ve mentioned that pike also enjoy Top-Water class lures including frogs, mice/rats and popper lures. Some of my best pike moments were with a floating mouse lure.
Pike are dang scary fish!
Thank you, and great point! We try to keep the videos short and sweet. Next time, when we talk about pike more in-depth, we plan to elaborate more on their high catchability using top water presentations and other great strategies. Thanks for watching.
@@FishAlongOFAH I look forward to more videos!! I had never gotten a straight answer before on how to fish Walleye properly until watching your videos. 😁 keep up the awesome work!
Question though... what waters do Channel Catfish like? Or are they like small mouth bass that they prefer warmer waters than pike? (South east Sask here you can’t find small mouth. Need to head near the US border)
It would be helpful to teach people how to safely handle fish, to protect your hands, to safely remove hooks, best practices in releasing and reviving fish. Each species requires information on how to grab, hold and release.
Wonderful suggestions! Will add that to our line up. Thank you Maurice.
I second that topic. It’s oddly not a subject talked about much in the you-tube fishing world... 🤔
I caught a nice 25 incher yesterday
Awesome! What were you using?
