I truly believe Elko will turn A&M into a powerhouse that competes every year like Georgia, Bama and Ohio State. It will take a few years but I think he starts strong going 10-2 with losses to Missouri and Auburn.

Gotta say something real quick about that Arkansas loss, Arkansas has only beat A&M once since joining the SEC. While it is easily a trap game, this year’s Arkansas is in no way set up to upset A&M in this amazingly set up season. I’d be more convinced with a Mizzou loss than Arkansas.
Mike Elko is going to make Texas A&M a great Program again. Great guy, Great Coach. But Notre Dame wins game 1.

I do not see 9-3 at all lol. That under 8.5 is easy money, if you ask me. This is an 8 win team at best with a new coach and scheme. They’ll probably pull an upset or 2 (Missouri or Texas), but they’ll lose to a crap team or 2 as well (Florida, Arkansas, Miss State, SCAR, take your pick).
Aggies will be the first team to win every game by double digits in an undefeated season.
Don’t overestimate a team.
You think they can beat Notre Dame, Florida, Missour AND LSU? I say they lose one of those if not 2.

Close Wins: vs Notre Dame 44-37, vs LSU 29-27, @South Carolina 34-27.

Great coaching gets A&M the win week 1 over a ND QB who Elko knows and has been injured this offseason as a transfer. BUT the big win distracts what still is a Jimbo Fisher recruited team. Florida meanwhile hasn't given up yet early in their season and has heard all the critics, upsetting A&M.
Jimbo recruited great talent. You can’t win without them. Now they have that PLUS great coaching.
I think Florida is the better team than Texas A&M let’s be honest here.
