We wanted to do something less academic. A lot of beer reviews are focused on blind or on rating the beers. We just wanted something people could understand :) Thanks for the comment!
I like Ambers. Alaskan Amber is my go to beer. I have tried the Clausthaler and it’s drinkable with lasting carbonation and even flavor and it avoids going skunky; but its not an Amber. Where can I get the •5 ? I would like to try it.
You can't really review your OWN beer 😂 I've heard wonders about your process though so would love to give it a try. Have you tried Guinness Pure Brew? Is that available in the US. It's by far the best Non Alcoholic I've had ( Still need to get my hands on some Point 5 in Ireland)
Cheers Richie for the comment. Yeah - I did try the Pure Brew in Ireland, I'm pretty sure it's not available in the US. (Kind of like Point 5 is not available in Europe right now). I wouldn't say the Pure Brew is great - from what I remember it tastes worty (the taste of beer before the fermentation process has happened). I haven't tasted the Guinness 00 yet, but from what I gather, they fully fermented Guinness and then take the alcohol out, so I'm guessing it's better than the Pure Brew.
Thanks for the reply. I actually really like Pure Brew - maybe it doesn't map in flavour to what a larger should taste like but whatever it is tastes good to me as an non alcoholic beverage. It's really the only one on the Irish market I'd bother with. I wonder what the uptake will be like on Guinness 00. Will definitely give it a try. However I wonder if its motto will be " All of the shits, but none of the fun!"
@@richiefarrell4726 in the US Guinness has an NA beer called Kaliber that tastes pretty darn close to a Guinness. Could just be the same as the one you mentioned, just rebranded 🤷♂️.
Thanks for the info. I have enjoyed your Point 5. I tend to enjoy Lager and less hoppy and your Point 5 is excellent.
Cheers Robert, appreciate the comment!
I've been meaning to order some Point 5 to try it out! Great stuff Ronan!
Cheers Sid, I've been tracking your business on linkedin. Great to see you growing. Hope to catch you in person some time.
My taste and palate says Coors Edge
Have you tried the sam Adams just the haze?
Wondering where it ranks with this lot ?
How about a blind tasting next time? Great one! :D

I really like the heineken 0.0 tastes exactly the same as the regular one
I have tasted about 10 of these......the Athletica is often recommended but I find it the only one I absolutely can't drink. Horrible aftertaste.

@@richiefarrell4726 yeah, I think that's fair. Agreed as well it's a weird space in terms of being a product without it's main ingredient
