I’m particularly interested in the 3rd chapter of Dr. Kripal’s new book. I have been assessed and diagnosed as autistic. When tested, I was administered the Weschler IQ test for children. I was 7. My verbal IQ was good, but I have a spiky intellectual profile. I blew the ceiling off the Performance IQ half of the test. This forced the Dr. assessing me to give me the max Fullscale IQ score. I’m sure you are aware the Performance IQ part of the test has a lot to do with symbols and block design etc. Dr. Kripal’s discussion of the Imaginal Realm was great. I’m a little surprised Corbin wasn’t mentioned. I was not aware of this till a couple years ago. I’ve gone on to get a BFA and after a decade of atheism, I now follow Advaita Vedanta. This interview was incredibly interesting, as occult studies and symbology are special interests of mine, since I was a little girl. Thank you, for what you do, Lord Sobek. Beautiful work! 😊 Edited to add: it’s difficult to bring up aptitudes without sounding like a braggart. Please don’t interpret what I said as this. About the Vedanta: the school I follow uses visualization as a strong component of meditation practice. Just thought it might tie in. If I’ve been offensive, I will delete.
No worries at all- thanks for sharing! We did touch upon the third chapter a bit in the interview. We brought up Corbin a little at the top of the talk, but I think we got sidetracked by UFOs, sorry lol
I really appreciate you bringing the themes of Kripal (Superhumanism), Hanegraaff (Hermetic Imagination/Radical Nonduality) and Litwa (Posthuman transformation) together here directly with one of the sources. I have been enjoying the beautiful resonance of their recent work.
Outstanding interview 👍
Glad you enjoyed it!
