I also have a VLOG series where I take you behind the scenes from when I meet with Hollywood stars at different interview locations and give you a little sneak peak of what it's like to interview some of Hollywoods biggest stars. In my VLOGS I also take you to premieres, Hollywood parties, premiere after-parties, red carpets, The Oscars, The Golden Globes - and travels to film festivals, like Toronto, Cannes and Venice, comic-con in San Diego, as well as the typical film junket. Great ! ( be careful that the audio is a bit too loud, almost to distortion. But not your microphone level ) who takes care of the sound...goes to extreme. I m a sound engineer. On headphones, the splitting of guest to only one side is not very welcomed ) . Having said that, you are awesome as always.( i hope this helps )
Thank you. I am not that good with audio, obviously 😂 I just edit the way the tape comes in stereo. Maybe a long shot, but do you take assignments as a sound engineer? I am looking for someone for another project...
@@Flaawsometalk the audio should not go louder than minus 6 db. You can edit the audio after, but its from the recording , when it has a bit of distortion on it, even if you make the volume lower in editing, the distortion stays there. Distortion means that it sounds very busy and a bit harsh, un-natural. The level of recording is too hot from the start. It goes on red, or yellow. It should stay on green, thats all. Distortion can,t be removed from the audio, but the audio can be reduced in volume. 2 ways to have a good recording: check the audio levels before the guest comes, make sure it stays on green, if the guest has a loud voice...then adjust the input level of the recording to medium, actually never to loud. *** I can edit anything you need, even video, send me anything. Thanks for being wise enough to appreciate constructive criticism. I only want to help. I like you you, and less than best for you is unacceptable for me :) Again: why we're not neighbours ?
Thank you so much for this. It's not criticism at all. I am so grateful for any help that can make me better at what I do. I just finished editing my first documentary and I have been working with the audio for a while. It's great to know this kind of stuff. Sometimes it's out of my control though, like for these interviews. I am not setting up the cameras or audio myself. It's all provided by the studios so I guess they should pay more attention when they set it up. Thanks again for this. Really appreciate it. I will try to play around with the next video to see if I can make it smoother. I found a function in Final Cut that's called "Limiter" that helps the audio not peak som much. I am guessing you don't work in Final Cut?
@@Flaawsometalk Sony Vegas. If they keep the recording levels so high, then the microphones should be farther to avoid distortion. Best to choose moderate levels. Your microphone was perfect level. If is recorded too loud ( on yellow or red ), then even if you make it more quiet, it will still have distortion on it, impossible ti fix it. Well, is not so bad, don t worry, one in 100 people will even notice. :) You are such a nice person and your interviews are so special. Thanks

I find this amusing in one obvious way. I’ve noticed that as a while women sincerely believe being a man is easy. And that everything a man does garners admiration. The reality is that in no way resembles the lives or experiences of men in general. We simply don’t complain about it.
