I watched this years ago as a teenager. For some reason, I remembered it today. I searched for over a half hour and finally found it. The end with the music, while Ray’s nostalgia pours out for Jim, is beyond moving. Ray spoke about Jim with conviction, ease, and grace. Rest in peace, Ray.
Real cool guy, and in tremendous shape for his age. Must be a cool life bring Ray Manzarek and you can tell he loves it. Real talented and a truly unique musician. It's that talent and attitude that made the doors one of histories greatest !!
Great guy and musician! A legend! Hope the younger generation takes note on how to be humble, and always remember you are where you are BECAUSE of your fans! And NEVER forget where you come from.

The best on the spot interview vlog I have ever seen to date. Well crafted questions. Was careful not to ask loaded questions or insult Ray. Also Ray was super kind to a fan. Makes listening to the Doors music that much more enjoyable. Thanks for making it through to the kinder side of the Doors.
This makes me incredibly happy to see, it appears he is a genuine as possible celebrity. I guess at his age theres not much reason to be cocky, but its great to see someone take the time. i love ray dearly.
Ray was so cool for doing that! I got to see him and Robbie live last year. During the new Doors movie John Densmore came out and introduced the film 'When Your Strange", in L.A. And last I went to Paris to visit Jim's Grave, that's as close as I will ever get to see the Doors live. Thanks for the post!!!!

Seems like a cool guy. Shows how the mentality that most people in the sixties was about peace and love, why can't young people today show the same compassion for each other without having to worry about being put down by others.

I'm reading his book ' my life with the doors' its awesome what a life... and i'm glad i finnaly heard some one that knew jim say that Oliver Stone got jims character wrong... i just couldnt imagine Jim Morrison as a mad cheatin weirdo... ok he had his moments but stone took too far, and twisted Rays words (as he points out in the book!) - i recomend it to all doors fans!! Thanks for the vid :)

Funny you should joke about Jim being in Oregon being a cowboy. Last summer in my friend's hood in Portland there was a homeless guy with a harmonica and leather pants with wavy hair they called homeless Jim Morrison.
