I have one of these Helki's, love it, the one upgrade I did was send the jacket into Paramo to have pits zips installed, did this about 2 years ago, about a 2 month wait and cost about £45, though well worth it, as makes the jacket far more functional.

Recently bought this jacket for hiking in the uk, personally i love it, feels a good weight and of amazing quality. Not tried it in the rain yet but sure it will perform great.

Thank you for your review. I saw the jacket on sale and was intrigued. When you showed the pockets, I knew that jacket is not for me as I want it for backpacking. It looks like, I have to go for the Alto 3 or the Velez.

Paramo alta iii... Best jacket ever... But I also love the old school paramo jackets.... Just nikwax and tech wash it now and again...
