When I saw this my friends and i immediately strapped rockets to our 5 speed bikes and used football helmets...our megaforce youth career ended when a rocket flew into a patrol car. We were chased to the tune of the opening credits. none of us got caught, went home, ate pepperidge farm, and withdrew from megaforce.....I'm good now, thanks!
A little tv trivia for y'all: The Japanese guy in this movie was in the original miniseries of "V" when it premiered on NBC back in 1984. Boy did that movie ever scared me especially when the motherships were seen across 50 major cities all over the world. STILL a CLASSIC in my book. Peace out and KEEP ROCKING

It is quite obvious that the haters of the movie were not born in the 80's and therefore are not familiar with how movies were made during that ERA. Mega Force was a flop of a movie due to the poor acting and story line. However for people like me that were raised in the 80's, 'Blade Runner' and 'TRON' along with Mega Force were 3 of the best SCI -FI films for that ERA. Today I am a script writer (with a number of writing credits) and nothing would make me happier than too re-write the script for a movie reboot. I will say now that I look back on it, I can agree with people's comments about the graphics and acting but when I first saw it as a young kid it blew my mind by the graphics. I was 11 when this movie came out on VHS and I still have it in my collection with the cover in MINT condition. So if you are gonna hate on a movie from the 60's to 90's please remember how they were made.

I had two of the Megaforce matchbox cars, coulda sworn one was the MegaForce equivalent of a FAV, just with a more complete/armored chassis.
