Name something you admire about Mike Mo! 👇
i admire his style and attitude 👌🏽 he still got the best line from girl yes we canada 🍁
The switch flip from the intro of Fully Flared
His humbleness nowadays and the fact that he hasn't let his injuries define him
I admire his kindness and perseverance, when he came to Brazil he signed my shirt and took a picture with me smiling and with kindness in his eyes, he is my biggest skateboarding hero! Love him
Anyone who would get back on a skateboard after an injury like that has my admiration. The fact that he can still skate at this level is a testament to willpower, his skill, and strength of character. 🎩tip.
It broke my heart when he got hurt and said he was done skating but watching him battle back and get back on a board is so fuckin dope. Love his passion for the sport.
genuinely one of the greatest skaters to ever live
Dudes got a paralyzed foot and can still do all that. I cant do any of those and I've got two perfectly good feet and have been skating for years.
It's crazy how he can still do all of these in a row even after not skating for so long! Best dude
And not to mention his foot being paralyzed. So insane.
@@donovanclaxton3617 oh no doubt
That was awsome and can't believe he landed all those tricks considering he stuffed his leg up permanently his part in fully flared is 1 of my favorite skate parts of all time.
man’s is top comment and spoiled the video
That’s how talented he is!!! 💯
@@youeatself8870 Thought the same thing.
His foot
I can’t believe a comment discussing the video people just watched has information about the video in it. I’m shocked.
A Mike Mo vs Tommy To battle would be so sick to watch, they’re both so talented
Don’t forget handsome
yeah to me they both have similar style and steez, they also really like switch tre flips
Even with a paralyzed foot! Love Mike Mo.
Those from the 00-10 era really appreciate these type of videos man, thank you.
I still wonder about the pros of yesteryear, wishing em all the best.
He’s on nine club regularly:) just launched an nft lmao
It's crazy for me to look at skating and see that I don't know anyone. I just watch people from that Era haha
28 y/0 here just coming back into the world of skating…. My world was shattered when I found out mike mo’s leg was permanently shot by rewatching fully flared
I feel like the impossible late flip should be named the miko mo flip, just to pay this man respect for his incredible skating even after such a serious injury.
You mean 360 undeflip

Mo-flip
We call it that here in Florida.
Mike Mo was my favorite skater growing up. That whole Girl team was FIRE! I remember hearing about the golf kart crash and thinking how stupid the whole thing was. Glad he has recovered well, and can skate let alone walk 👌
That has to be the G006 Shape which was a 7.81 ( 7 13/16 like he said, was labeled like this, I still have a complete new one of them, Mike Mo Stencil OG )
Great board, amazing shape and they don’t produce it anymore ☹️
Nice to see Mike Mo doing all that tricks again after his accident. 👍🏻
I am really glad
Wish him all the best :)
that feels like such a small board compared to the ones most people use these days
Remember when 7'6 was the standard board
And now an 8.0 board is small lol
They will be skating doors in 20 years
@@mmzer8651 Don’t think so. Guess they will getting a little bit smaller. 7.75 - 8
Mike Mo is a legend
Definitely one of the greatests 🐐 grew up watching him, alot of the new skaters have no idea who he is but definitely should be recognized.
Mike mo is insanely good and well up berrics for this gift 🙏🏼
Been out of the game for years due to serious injuries, i'm healed up and ready to skate again this gives total inspiration cause like Mike Mo there was a time I thought I never thought i'd be able to skate again
It’s so good to just see him skating. His part in fully flared is so iconic and nostalgic to me and my friends. Hopefully he still skates here and there.
Once upon a time I watched Mike Mo's 8=D kickflip tricktip every day for a year straight. I'd already learned the trick after a week of watching, but it was so funny to me that I had to keep re-watching. Thanks for the knowledge and laughs Mike Mo.
I really hope we get to see more of his skating.
Honestly, I teared up watching this. I remember back in 2008 watching Mike’s Fully Flared part everyday after high school. He inspired me so much. I was crushed when he got hurt, so it’s pretty awesome to see him having fun landing tricks he used to do like butter.
It was good to hear Mike say “skating is fun” again hahaha
Mike Mo is the gift that keeps on giving!
Carpe Diem
I have watched more Mike Mo after he got hurt than I did when he was healthy, he handles himself with class.
Always love seeing mike mo skate ✊🏽
So crazy to think about, that a Mike Mo with one working foot would probably still win the first batb
Speaks volumes about how the level of skateboarding increased over the years but also about just how good Mike Mo still is, what a legend!
INSPIRATIONAL…!!!…great to see Mike Mo rocking like Hendrix at Woodstock…!!!
I have missed this for so many years mo is by far my favourite skater as he just oozes chill fun vibes and that's what it's all about having fun nothing more nothing less. Can't wait to see him having barrels more fun for the years to come you da GOAT mo!
I love watching him skate, still my favorite skater 🔥💯
youve been an inspiration for more than a whole generation man...
It was so fresh watching him on a board. His style and innovation with tricks breathed new life into the world of skateboarding.
It's really good to see him on a board.
Mike mo was and will always be one of my favorite skaters. Dudes a ripper👌🏻
Should do this for every champ
Im just hyped to see him skate.
Mike Mo Calipadi can landing these signatures tricks and getting into a good routine to find his confidences working out on a championship skateboard!
Capaldi. Imagine giving praise to someone and not even respecting them enough to get their name right lol
Who's Mike mo calipadi?
@@zureai at least the comment is equally butchered throughout. An accurately spelled name would look out of place amongst all the other typos
@@zureai that is a hard name to pronounced and having enough ability to reach his potential to keeping on skateboarding longer and progressions of a possibility to be in a discussion!
@@jordanreid4512 Mike Mo Calipadi might be either a rookie or maybe old school skater legend I think I could be wrong about him to have a competition of competing more in competition and same goes for tournaments too as well?!
Still remember the week I was at Woodward when his injury happened, was lucky enough to catch him in the boardshop to say hey when he first showed up and was able to watch him skate i'll never forget that man
Jesus christ. Showing me that clip of Mo V Benny gave me real nostalgia. I feel old as fck
One of my favorite skaters all time i like the style 🤘
This is SO insane dude.
Absolute legend. Wow
I'm amazed he was able to nail all of them so quick or even do em period
This was so fun to watch. Mike Mo is still one of the best to ever do it and Kelly is the best hype man you could ask for.
Mike has been one of my favorite skaters for a long time. I really admire his resolve. Fighting your way back from an injury that directly impacts what you love is amazing.
I admire his attitude more than anything. Dudes a beast on a board. Got injured worse than most. Still rips. But he never stopped having a laugh.
mike mo siempre fue y sera mi skater favorito, me inspiró en mi primeros caminos del skateboarding desde el 2010 hasta 2022...
con fully flared del 2007 swich kickflip en la gradas! Mo forever!
Mike Mo is inspirational man. 🖤
That fs flip 🔥🔥🔥
So happy for Mike. When he was on the nine club after the BATB 12 match against Koston he said he felt great after that and his body didnt hurt. He pretty much got a second wind of passion to skate again. Thats fuckin awesome 👏 much respect to Mike 💯
If they put skateboarding in the special Olympics Mike mo could make a comeback.
Mike Mo will be one of those old dudes that warns kids about stupid things like that golf kart stuff. I'm glad to see him skating
what if mike never had that accident. dude is a character, skill and talentwise an absolute legend
What’s accident?
@@Ze_phyriouS The golf cart accident that basically ended his carrer
Bro he got off easy compared to CK1.
@@Sam.2711 thx, I didn't know that
@@vgrepairs Corey is still able to skate and he didn’t lost his sponsors
Mike Mo were off board for years too and he will never be able to skate like before! His foot is paralyzed
And this not a battle of who got fucked up more dude
I don't think I can get tired of going down memory lane with Mo. Also, one time the girl team randomly stopped at Wilson Skatepark here in Chicago...for anyone who hasn't gotten a chance, seeing Malto, Mo, and Stevie Perez skate in person is dope.
One of the GOAT's for sure
Forever my favorite skater
time flies so fast.
thank you mike mo
That's really incredible ✊🏽
Mo still my fav all time 🙌
Warms my heart to see him land these tricks again
Love to see Mike Mo skating.
You guys should do this with each champion ! 🏆
*It’s so mind blowin that he can landed all the tricks he does before, and i was speechless how good Mike Mo even he’s injured*
I recommend everyone watches “Biebel telling Mike Mo what to do”, this vid reminds me of it and you can see just how consistent this man was. Used to watch that vid on repeat back in the day
Man you can see the pain and awkardness when he skate but still beast asf
7 13/16 is a 7.81 if you were wondering
He has one of the best style on skateboarding! It's very hard to see Mike Mo suffering with some tricks that he did very easily, I've noticed that he dosen't have the strength to place one foot on the ground and he limps slightly when he tries to jump, thanks for skate for all your fans Mike!
he's a living legend
We love you big man
Mike Mo forever a technical monster.
crazy how all these years later he still didn’t pop on the fakie bigflip
Man Mike is a legend
Mo is back! 🙌
"Nyjah! YEEEEEAAAAHH!" hahahahaha Legend.
Mike Mo has the best flow and style of skating. Even when he reverts.
still got it 👍 👌
Man, he can still skate, he could maybe get to the same level as before if he put in the work. Some therapy in the pool and some gym time with a good rehab/prehab trainer to show him what to work on, he could get back or close to 100%. There are many athletes who came back to elite level with freakish injuries. If only he put his mind to it, he would be a guy to watch out for in any batb, specially if he laid of stairs and handrails and give it his all on ledges and tech stuff. If he can still skate like this after the injury and not skating for a long time, he can surely get back to it.
His style kinda reminds me of Tommy To
Skateboarding saves lives
Crazy he still rips so hard. So consistent.
All time favorite
miss mike so much
Do the billy marks battle! That one was insane
7 & 13/16 = 7.8125. i remember at one time this size being odd but seeing a bunch of decks have it. This was like right before when popular sizes were 8.125/8.25 and up. I love how he meme'd out the name of the size Lol
I think that's actually the same size as my Zero deck that I've held onto for over a decade.
Love ya Mike Mo
Mike Mo is the man
AMAZING!!!!
"Skating is fun" i can't wait til my broken leg heals completely. He gives me so much hope in skating and for my own skating. I can't wait to pop a solid ollie.
Legend 🙌 🔥🔥🔥
Me encantaba tanto la forma de patinar de mikemo que llego convertise en mi skater favorito incluso cuando en esa época estaba nyjah también estaba dándolo todo. Que lástima la lesión que tuvo justo cuando estaba en lo mejor de su carrera 😔
For me, mikemo is the best skater lakai never had ❤️❤️
Amazing!!!!
Mike Mo is an incredible skater with impeccable style, but what made him a star imo is his personality and how authentic he is. Most talented skaters are awesome on the board but keep their personalities hidden which is a mistake. Girl hit the jackpot with the Mo & Malto combo.
Where’s the rest of this interview?
Certified legend
Legend 🔥🔥🔥
Mike Mo foooo shoooo 🤘🏻
Legend
Kelly is the ultimate skate hype man.
Mike Mo is the OG of late flips.
No, but maybe Koston is. Watch his videos from early 1990s haha
Is he made from steel or what? Legend💪💪
I love how he still lands those tricks. But how did he ever win BATB with those tricks?
mike mo is the GOAT
Weird how most skaters have moved to boards at least 8 inches now. But these 7 inch boards were flippy af even though the difference between them and an 8 isn't big at all.
