May 6th is National/International Scrapbooking Day! To celebrate this awesome occasion, I will be hosting a MEGA UA-cam Livestream featuring my 1 Paper Pad + 10 Layouts Challenge! During today's livestream, I am sharing the paper pad (from my stash) that I will be using for my projects along with my preliminary prep tasks and plans as I get ready to make 10 scrapbook layouts (and a few cards) LIVE on May 6th starting at 10:00 am CST in celebration of National/International Scrapbook Day!

P R O D U C T: For this challenge, I am using the Park Lane - Vintage Chic 12x12 Paper Pad by Joann. If you are inspired to try this challenge, I highly recommend that you select a paper pad (any size) from your STASH versus buying a new paper pad! I like the idea of this process and love systems and processes at WORK. Im a HR Director so everything is a process, a checklist, and ultra planned out and organized. But as soon as I wrap up work, I leave that behind to be totally spontaneous. Then I find being spontaneous leads to things I need to fix, like oh I didn't think about THAT! I did put together some kits though based on stories I want to tell and of course I have that die cut pack😂 looking forward to watching the live!
I feel ya! I was a HR Manager years ago - lots of lists, process, etc. I also was a spontaneous scrapper (still am...occasionally). But when I work on large projects, I need my lists! LOL! I'm glad you will be joining me on May 6th!

Thanks! I appreciate that! I use ECAMM to livestream on UA-cam. Also, I use both my laptop and iPhone...super simple set up!

I do a very similar process when I design layouts. Except I design them in Photoshop, takes the guesswork out of what size to print my photos. If I’m starting with a sketch I just drop the sketch on my file and can size it to 12x12. Also if I’m using a cut file I can size that to fit too. But yes, my process is very close to yours.

Dear Viktoria, not only am I not buying the paper pad but I don’t even have any paper pads to be used up in my stash. Instead, since I am planning to scrap Easter photos I am combining the papers of a couple of spring/ Easter collections from my stash. This gives me matching embellishments and stickers right away. And I can use up some of my stash. I love the impulses and inspiration you’re giving me with this paper pad series. Lots of love from Germany, Carolin

That colorful paper that looks like tile is actually a quilt design called Grandmother’s Flower Garden. The flowers are made by using the English paper piecing technique, which is a very long process of hand-sewing the hexagons into a flower shape, then connecting the flowers to create the quilt top, then pulling out all the papers used to shape the hexies. Very laborious, but also quite rewarding and meditative. 😁 Steph

Just started watching the replay. I really like that paper pad and I have the die cut shapes so I’m looking forward to seeing what you do with these.
That die cut pack is a gem! I almost passed it up...glad I didn't!

I just went to a crop last weekend. Brought multiple summery collection kits and scrapped our cuba trip randomly using those collections . Easy peasy

Lots of 😊most 12x12-however many partials as I buy them when makes sense vs single papers. Use the pages I bought them for, then-lots of left overs
I probably have 100 12 x 12 pads, 20-25 smaller pads. I'm addicted to 12 x 12's

SO bummed I missed the live! Unfortunately, May 6 I will be at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival volunteering by womanizing the DC chapter of the Embroidery Guild of American booth (such bad planning). I'm hoping to get some page kits ready with the help of your prep guidance anyway.
