So when you stop peddling and use pedal assist do the pedals stop turning or said another way does pedal assist move the padals or just the propeller?
The pedals stop.
pretty much the same as on the bikes .. looks like oldtowne adopted the same basic system.. probably 200 or 350w motor and built a chassis for it.. so pedals go free when the motor kicks in
🌴 hey bud , so with it being a motorized electric boat do you have to register it ? It sucks that even boats with trolling motors have to get registered, you would think if they want everyone to go green that they would cut ya some slack and make it so electric powered small water craft would be exempt, what kinda price is on one of those yaks?

in NC .,. the verbiage is .. any electric, sail or fuel powered vessal.. so we def have to register it here.

Pretty sure it will be a LifePo4 battery so you’ll be safe.
@@XploreAz its not.... they already said its lithium ion during the video.. it is literally the same systems on ebikes.. however .. for 125-130 you can put a 36ah / 36v lifep04 on it.. just has post/neg leads so cut the wires and put in a quick connect and drop in the lifep04 battery.. easy peasy.
