Cocktail Class is fantastic. Harper is a great addition to F52. For those who aren't a fan of whiskey, it would've been great to see Harper substitute Grand Marnier instead and make a Grand Manhattan.
Appreciate the detailed instructions and education. Understanding the 'how' and 'why' of mixology is fascinating even to a guy who doesn't drink. Thank you Harper.
Thanks, Harper. Regarding Vermouth...at roughly what point would you consider replacing an open bottle of Vermouth stored in the refrigerator? After a couple of weeks? A month? Again, thanks.
Hi Bywater NYC! Just consulted Harper, and his recommendation is to store sweet vermouth in the fridge for about a month to 5 weeks. (You can taste it each week to see how the flavor holds up though.) He also recommends buying a 375 ml bottle. Hope that helps! -Nicole Davis, Community Editor
Sorry guy. Your definition of bourbon isn’t quite correct. The two year minimum is only for the specific label of “straight bourbon”. Bourbon doesn’t have a minimum age.

The educational component of this video was great. Cheers! 🥃
Great information for someone new to cocktails. Always been a beer drinker.
I love Manhattans... bourbon.... but I never realized the nuances that went into it... great vid.
I prefer dry vermouth. And rye. Not so sweet. And orange 🍊 bitters. But enjoyed presentation. More please.
Looks great!! 🥃🍸🍹
He knows his stuff.
Bourbon for sure, thank you

@@food52 Thanks so much, Nicole and Harper. Although I buy small bottles, I'm definitely guilty of keeping them too long. Appreciate your advice!
