idk , that full miltek turbo cat combo just sounds so much better. ( downpipe + cat back from miltek )To be fair, this does sound better than the usual mqb I hear.
I'd expect anything with an aftermarket cat-back to sound much better. But to be honest, a lot of the exhausts I hear for the MQB like Borla, AWE, Remus I'm not a huge fan of. They sound quite hollow and can be just insanely loud (which some people like). I think out of all the cat-back exhaust on this platform I've heard I like MBRP the best. For this just being a dp and resonator delete I'm pretty happy how much more throaty it sounds.
@@MK6CHRIS I actually just watched it vid. It does sound much better than the former mentioned exhaust systems above. I like it it's not obnoxiously loud and it's pretty deep as well
I’m assuming your still running your uni stage 2 tune with this down pipe .... Nice to see this vids , always like to know what it’s gonna sound like before a purchase
Well I have to do an update video with the new setup. But yes was unitronic stage 2 with jb4 stack and that I did dyno! Very impressive power from that combo.
jahn jayatilaka . Looking forward to it . I did some research on JBV2 and it’s great to see some local options available not far from where I live in London , Ont.
@@satajettube definitely we are fortunate to live near the owner of DBV2. Means continued support for his products and convenience of location. Really happy with the downpipe
Great video man! But those are not spot welds, they are TIG welds and yes, the craftsmanship is definitely there and the exhaust sounds great. Look forward to some updates.
Thanks! Yes I know they are TIG I said "spotless" just to describe how clean the welds were ;). Thanks for the support and there will be more content on the car shortly!
Gonna be honest and say it sounds nothing like the non res Cobra Sports Catback on my GTI Clubsport, and thats just 3 inch. But hey its a Catback, and another car so idunow if a fair compare. Iv heard nothing as bassey as that, hum maby Borla in that case, but it dosent sound as perfect. Never the less, i still feel it needs a downpipe as well so its most likely a Unitronic, as CTS had complaints on quality, iv heard same about the German Bull-X pipe to be honest... That its leaking. Basically none, or very many happy guys with Unitronic on the net forums however... And DAP is selling it, (Deutsche Auto Parts) Says quite a bit to me... 👍
Yeah to be honest myself it really tough to makes these engines sound very good. I believe if I ever get an exhaust to go with this downpipe I'm not sure if it'll sound better, however I do know I would benefit from the increased flow and less restriction by replacing the OEM mufflers. This downpipe has been proven to give awesome gains for performance so it's not just about the sound, but I do like how the car sounds now compared to my old downpipe which was 3 inch
I think trackslag downpipe would be the cream of the crop at the moment with upgraded turbo it’s 4 inch into 3.5 inch they’re made in the UK ,but also the dbv would be sufficient as well !
I've recently seen the trackslag and it definitely looks great! Biggest one of the market. If I had to do it again I'd definitely give that a serious consideration!

@@ChampagneS3 how do you feel about the full miltek? Does it give you the same tin can type sound? Have u hear it ?

DOPE hoodie
Thanks bro
Since you’re stage 2, do you have a check engine light on with this downpipe?
Nice video
Roughly how long did u run the 3.5" pipe for and then into 3"??
Thanks glen
The pipes diameter changed just before the stock suitcase muffler portion where it is attached by the clamp

@@ChampagneS3 are there any sort of rubbing/hitting touching the body or structure of the car issues what do ever ? Thanks.
@@SHODUUP none at all. I'm still running this same downpipe and I've had zero fitment issues

What's the MSRP? Catted option?
On the website it's $1,100. Catted option I would think add some cost for the extra component

Integrated Engineering has best downpipe
For stock turbo sure its a good downpipe. When you upgrade the turbo anything bigger is more beneficial. I'm running a 4" downpipe now
