- I have been wanting to ride the Mid-Atlantic backcountry Discovery route (MABDR) for awhile, I bought the bike and got it ready to go. In this video it is travel day. I unfortunately had a bad fall on the bike the day before leaving. I injured my ribs.
I was in a lot of pain and should have put the trip off for another time but I am stubborn that way. And going to a doctor is not one of my priorities. So I suffer along downing Ibprofen and hoping things will get better but.....they don't!
I should make it to Damascus in the next video and there I can start the MABDR.

Ahhhh, finally get to see your MABDR trip. Sounds like you are getting acclimated to Tillie now. I hope that your chest has since healed up now without any long listing effects. And that Tillie. Looks at her go !! Can't wait to see the rest of your trip.

Yes healed up pretty good. A little pain once in awhile, but I can live with it.
Tillie can handle the highway and the trails but will need a whole new suspension. I can't believe Honda gets away with this.

@Adventureswithmeme Glad you're healed up pretty well then. I know those ligaments can get damaged or torn and take months and months to heal. Itore one in my right shoulder several years ago up in Whistler, Canada while mountain biking. Out was a slight tear, not enough to require surgery. But, to this day, it still let's me know it's there.

We stayed in Elizabethtown a few years ago!
My Mom and Dad were married there. I always think of that when going through there.
Falling is painful. But we learn from it. First day I went off road on my pan am I dumped it..😂 you’ll get the hang of it.
My old body doesn't like falling! 😀

I have used it on my street bike but I usually use my beads. The beads did not work on the Rally, the seat is too hard.
