It's snowing and the temp is in single digits. My visor is in fog mode by default at that temp. Applying shaving cream to the inside of my visor caused it to fog more than before and stay fogged up longer. DO NOT USE T SHAVING CREAM. Keep it simple and just use the spray that was actually designed to stop fog.
I don’t use shaving cream anymore. It’s a temporary fix. Sounds like in your case since you live in much colder temps that it makes it worse. I’ve been using the pin lock method for the last two years now. Works much better.
We use a 12mm garden irrigation hose elbow, heated & flatten at one end to make mouth piece & a longer nose exiting my helmet. works mint.. no one can tell when wearing a full face helmet. And use nose plugs or nose clips used for swimming stops you breathing out your nose.
I don't know if this is just like another tik tok video. I did try applying shaving cream to the Visor, used multiple brands of shaving cream on multiple occasions to avoid fog. Unfortunately it did not work even for few mins! ☹️☹️☹️
Sorry..this is mainly a short temporary fix. I highly recommend using a pinlock visor. That is what I have been using for years now. Only thing that has helped me for antifog.
Joejeel Faniega it’s a temporary solution. A few months after this method I ended up getting the anti fog visor. It sits underneath your original visor and works better.
This hack is temporary. Depending on weather conditions it can last anywhere from one to three rides. I ended up going with a pin lock visor that went over my current one which helped much better.
It depends on how cold it is or if you are a heavy breather like myself lol for me it lasted one to three rides. What works best for me is using a pin lock insert or anti fog shield.
@@donniebaynard8430 sorry. When I visited NY I experienced humidity in the summer and it was nasty, so I could only imagine. My fat ass constantly sweats and we have the dry heat here!
This is just a quick temporary solution. I highly recommend using and anti fog layer or pin lock lens. That’s what I have now and I never deal with fog anymore.

Did it work?
P.S. This doesn't work.
@@pookiewookie7679 no not for me

Crazy right? I ended up getting one of those 2nd layer windshields down the road. Works even better.
I check. Working!!! Gillette Gel and foam.
Nice! This does work however I ended up getting an anti fog visor that goes onto my existing windshield.

That's perfect I will use my anti fog spray to shave and my shaving cream for anti fog. Life is so simple

This works f. a while, however the shaving foam also smears the visor so you won't have a clear view...
Agreed. It’s a temporary solution for sure. I use the pin lock method now.
@@FrankiesWorld Whats a pin lock method
@@shamitube it’s like an additional layer that goes over your existing windshield.
@@FrankiesWorld Thnx sir for ur reply
How long will it takes the anti fog will do in your visor?

What?
Awesome
how long it works after applying the shaving foam inside out?
Depends on how cold it is outside. For me I was doing this every 3 times I used it.
Hi there!
How long does this "Hack" last?
Because you can buy anti-fog-layer for helmets and the last almost forever...!
This hack is temporary. Depending on weather conditions it can last anywhere from one to three rides. I ended up going with a pin lock visor that went over my current one which helped much better.
It lasts until you breathe. Stick with the anti-fog spray.
For how long does the effect last?

@@FrankiesWorld thanks for the Frank reply 😀
Yes it works until you go outside
can this work for prismatic visors or no?
Sorry I have no idea
That won't work on a super humid day. Might help though.
You’re probably right. What they need is a helmet with a/c, heating and defroster lol
I'm from Gastonia NC and this time of year is 1,000,000% humidity at all times.

And I just spent 25 dollars on a anti fog spray like a hour ago 😐
