Exfog is a great helmet fan. Yes, it can take a beating, and it works great. I only fog in unrealistically humid days. Which has only happened once in over 3 years.
All valid points, but I would like to add the following - something that you haven't touched upon: dress lighter than you would normally. What I mean by that is dress for the game, not for the waiting (standing) period before the game starts. During colder period this means that you will be feeling a bit chilly before the game starts, but when it does due to moving (running etc.) your body temperature won't spike up as much as it would if you are dressed for standing still outside. This in return will lower the temperature difference between inner (your body / eyes) and outer space of your protection goggles = much less chance for fogging up.
Worth mentioning dual pane lenses. I believe Dye use them. Some companies like Revision also do them (most cost effective option is a surplus desert locust, then buying the £30 dual pane (thermal) lense from Revision). It works by creating an air gap. The outside pane isn't in direct contact with the warm air, and the inside pane isn't in direct contact with cold air, thus fog forms much less readily. I don't know what the cheap ones are like, but I'd probably avoid them. I've also heard of people making their own with a thin sheet of PET and some form of sealant.
@@jonathanbleecarter Yeah, it's a bit of a crap shoot on what works for who. Some things work great for some and not for others. There are so many variables in how the person perspires, kit they're wearing like helmet, goggle seal due to face shape etc. I think the best combo is probably something with dual pane and something to shift the air, either a fan or external system.
@@huttserl Try searching "thermal lense", my bad for not using the term they use. There are a number of other companies in the UK at least that sell Revision products who sell it too.

just dropping by to say i play outdoors in the winter and during 100% humidity in summertime with a dye mask. i cant get it to fog over if i try to. id rather leave my HPA gun at home and use a rental gun than leave my dye mask at home and play with any other eye pro.
Hi! I sweat more than the average person, like just after wearing all my gear, I will look like I have taken a shower already. I have gone through a lot of options like dual pane, dual pane large vents plus frog spit. But still my goggles fog up. Is there really a way to eliminate the fog or I am better off with mesh?
Take a look at options to help get air flow inside the lenses, or try a different brand of antifog. There’s also the Ex-Fog system that other people claim works really well but I’ve never used myself. Mwah is dangerous, and can cause serious injury to your eyes if struck by a BB
Thoughts on cat crap? Also, make a video of application of fogstop. I am the owner of the national airsoft league and I am working on a big req list and could include it.
I have found what works best for me is a respirator mask with the filters removed. It dosent trap much heat but forms a seal around your mouth and nose and redirects all the warm humid air out of the vents which are lower down and away from your goggles. And the controversial statement is that may spare pair of mesh goggles have never fogged. As long as you treat them with some kind of anti-rust and replace them if do see any sign of rusting, they are perfectly safe. Sure as heck safer than almost falling down a flight of stairs because you fogged up.
how about a military headband, i have that problem of sweating a lot and the headband helps tons, if it is ever soaked, you can have multiple and change them in an instant, it absorbs a lot of the sweat and it is great edit i just got to minute 3 sigh...
if you're playing for fun and use less accurate gear you can always get goggles that have a hard mesh instead of lenses. Has naturally great air circulation too. But i guess if you searched and clicked on a "stop fog" video then you already own goggles that can fog up...

How would it work down here in South Louisiana? Where humidity is often 95%

I went on their site and couldn't find a dual pane option; do you know where to buy this by any chance?

@@skywardsoul1178 no worries, thanks! Ill update here if I can find it
Have not tried it yet but heard toothpaste is also good against fog
Use those tiny little moisture absorbing packs or anti fog strips used in go pro cameras
Nice little bourbon collection you have started! I'd highly recommend a little rare breed into your arsenal if you're a fan of barrel proofs
I built a mask around a DYEi lens it works really well and I can get on low sights. Made 9 so far for my club $45 alot more reasonable than $140
I would like to see an example.

My very simple solution is to just wear non seal safety glasses like for a workshop because they cannot dog no matter what you are wearing
I guess you are just lucky.
never thought about the headband. Do you have a photo how I best put that on my gear?
If you use a dye mask and have the exo fog system I done it a lot cheaper with two 4cm pc fans from Amazon and a power bank. It keeps your face cool
Exfog works the best for me its a solid product

first way to stop fog is buying glasses with airsoft certification that are anti fog 👍🏼
Great tips thanks!
Even with Pyramex dual slims I'm drowning in the oceans of my eyes, except it's way less poetic than it reads...
my issue isn't fog but my sweat dripping in my glasses
Anti fog coatings may help you as they creative a film which helps prevent moisture build up

I do not recommend using mesh glasses, bb's may and will break on the net and scatter shrapnel over your eyes.
