Ever wonder what happened to that second Neuralink chip surgery? We've got you covered and more in this episode. We’ll explore the evolution of humanoid robots, from their early days to the latest technological advances.

    Six months ago, news broke about the Figure One humanoid working at the BMW plant. Although the robot is not fully ready yet, it’s impressive to see it pick up parts with agility and precision, demonstrating autonomous movements controlled by neural networks. It's a clear example of evolution, not revolution, but still fascinating.
    In Japan, engineers from the University of Tokyo have managed to create and attach a bit of skin to a robot, with future plans to cover the entire robot's body with realistic skin, including sweat glands, pores, and blood vessels.
    Chinese scientists have taken a step forward by getting live brain cells to control a microchip. This biocomputer has the potential to control robots and perceive the world through electronic signals, showing more intuition and creativity than traditional AI systems.
    Additionally, Hashim Al-Galy proposes an innovative idea: instead of keeping prisoners in costly jails, insert them into a virtual prison where they would relive their crimes from the victim's perspective, hoping to induce remorse and prevent future crimes.
    In another field, humanoid robots like Digit are starting to be used in factories and warehouses, showing the potential of robotics in industrial work.
    Finally, Neuralink postponed its second implant surgery due to the poor health of the selected volunteer. However, the first trial showed promising results, with the volunteer playing video games with incredible precision.

      Yea, I'm kind if in the right in terms of gender politics but i fond it jarring in the context of the channels content, kind of getting to the point of unsubbing, not because I feel any offence, like politically incorrect comedy. but because it just comes off like parroting other comedians, comedy has to be unique or its lame cringe.

    • @CamelxRavenNova2
      @CamelxRavenNova2 4 дні тому +3

      @@10aDowningStreet for real it’s hella cringe, I want them to stick to tech news and futurism. I’m staying subbed cuz it’s one of the few legit tech news channels, I do enjoy predictions of what could be, I follow channels like that too but there’s too many scam science channels on UA-cam. I prefer Pro Robot’s first narrator. This one just comes off as inauthentic. I’m on the left in terms of gender politics. I enjoy my dark comedy too but it feels off for this channel. Anyway I always like my dose of tech and futurism, that’s the point of my channel subscriptions to have an echo chamber of these subjects.
