...and we watch. In pure fascination and shock and wonder as you manifest Your creation. There is something 'intimate' about watching as someone creates, no matter the end result, we know all the layers underneath. Inspiring as always. Thank you for sharing!
I don’t have the confidence yet to do the 180 but I absolutely love your results. I still have precious areas I don’t want to paint over. You are demonstrating that you can make something better at the end. Just take the leap. Thanks for sharing you journey.
it's very exciting to see you making bold moves! i don't think it even matters which version, or which side, we like better. it's a sketchbook and you're on a discovery mission! very inspiring. although i work in very different media than you, i find myself lately covering things up and simplifying areas that get too busy or fussy, and i'm sure it's your influence. thank you for all of it. :)
The left side definitely gives somewhat “African mask” vibes - I really like it, especially because that’s not what you were going for, lol. I usually don’t go for so much graphic black & white, but i now feel inspired to give it a try in my next sketchbook session. Thanks for the inspiration! ❤
I love how you changed the left side! When you were saying that you weren't sure what you wanted to do, I was thinking that maybe it would be good to change the top third. You did that, and more! It turned out so different, and so interesting. Both are great, but I give the left bonus points for originality and interest! Exciting!❤
The left piece looked like a prison you were trying to find your way out of! I'm glad you did and ended up happy (have to say I like the right one more though :) ❤
I've been so sick with a respiratory virus, I've been unable to make art in a week, so watching my favorite artists paint is as close as I can get. I really like both versions, but the second page with the vertical lines is my fave.
i am not crazy about the black! it's too high contrast with the rest and also overpowering. I liked the original spread. That said, most enjoyable watching and listening, and i always learn something from you. thanks!

Wow, thank you Tashe! ❤️❤️❤️
I loved the midtones and found that I liked the addition of black and a mix of soft edges with solid lines even more
So glad you enjoyed them! Thanks for joining me for the evolution of these two paintings! ❤️

Thank you! 🌟 Just go at your own pace-taking the leap can be so rewarding! 🎨❤️
I love both pieces! The black is perfect!
Ahh, so happy you feel that way! 🖤 Thanks for always hyping me up! 🎉
@@jackieschomburgart easy done… I might not catch every video but I do follow and love you work!
❤️❤️❤️
I LOVE it!! I so appreciate being able to watch your process. The added structure really makes a difference! Bravo!!
Thanks Ellen! ❤️❤️❤️
This week’s finished pieces are my favorites! Love the black and the straight edges….nice!!
Thanks Terri! They are SO different from where I left off last week, right? 😆
Congrats on sticking with this project… show great DETERMINATION,😉
Thanks so much, Terri! Determination and a sprinkle of chaos got me through! 😉💪
I love them!
That makes my day-thank you! 😍
Lol. Storm trooper indeed😅. It was all fun to watch.

Haha, I love that it gave off those vibes! So glad it inspired you! ✨🖤
I really like this.
It's fun, it's different, feels a bit like the 70ties patterns and vibes you see trending in interior design right now.
Thanks! I love the comparison to the 70s pattern vibe you’re seeing! I’ll have to pay more attention! 🤩
Love your work , not crazy about the uniformity of the left one
- I like the more abstract one on the right
I hear you! 🙌 The abstract side has a vibe of its own! Thanks for sharing! 🎨✨

Thanks Patricia! So glad you joined me on the adventure! 😆

Haha! So glad I escaped! 😅 (I like the right side more too ☺️❤️🤗)

Oh no! Rest up and I hope you feel better soon! ❤️❤️❤️ Watching art being created is a wonderful way to rest and heal ❤️
woo hoo!
🥳🥳🥳

The black is a major change (and not at all subtle 😆), that’s for sure ❤️
How about floating white or red squares added on both sides? It would add one more visual connection
Interesting thought! 👀 That extra pop might just do the trick-thanks for the inspo! 🙌😊
