Fucking ban Kazuya and Steve. These characters win off 1 interaction way too many times. And unlike Luigi and puff, they don’t have weaknesses to exploit

Reminds me of ics in melee. Lackluster neutral but just 1 taps you off a single hit. Except in this game if feels even worse cuz most chars combos on avg only hit for like 40% and thats considered solid. Kaz just goes from 0 to 110 to ded

How can I not complain? By growing a pair and realizing it's not Kazuya but Riddles being on another level.

For those who are illiterate in how Kazuya works, the EWGF to ftilt he did to finish the last game is really funny because it only works if they DI all the way out and it’s usually a call out option. You don’t see top players get hit with that typically.

Leo should have played Marth. So far, I think leo does a lot better with marth against kaz. One time, he beat riddles' kaz with marth and second time riddles lost first match and was forced to switched to his terry to avoid fighting with Leo's marth. Somehow, leo's marth works better than any other of his characters againts kaz.
Kazuya like playing close up. Dislikes range.

He knows, I don't think he switched characters once this entire tourney even against ShinyMarks pikachu which is a bad matchup for Roy.
So I think he's just trying to see how far his Roy can take him.

Really should have nerfed tf out kazuya no character should be able to combo to death on little to no interactions. Kazuya the only one and that’s without reads.
Lots of people question why it’s possible for Kazuya to 0 to death. I get it’s cheesy that he can even do that, but at least he isn’t taking over like in previous games where the cheesy character was everywhere.
Hate the cheese. That’s OK. But also realize it could be way worse. They could have made Kazuya accessible and easy to play.

If a person invests into that character enough they legit will destroy anyone which is just nonsense.

I don’t think it’s the fact the match up isn’t winnable I think it’s the fact that Roy is riddles third main so riddles knows a lot about the character

nah he kept taking riddles to town thats his fault. Kaz's 3rd best stage. The matchup is definitely not good but theres no such thing as an unwinnable matchup in this game.

This was honestly a pretty rough performance from MKleo. Barely used his guns, wasn't trying to space or stuff out kaz, weak movement, and absolutely no DI mixups. Almost no Kazuya counterplay period.
If you're being objective- this fight says more about MKleos current abilities than Kaz being crazy OP. And for people that still want to ban Kaz in 2024... no words but bruh.
