So, I have made it a routine now.. I literally make sure to watch atleast 1 video of ruby every single day. She is just so so inspirational, I've managed to study consistently for long hours and focus for 12 hours every day. Ruby if you're reading this just know that you've been my greatest source of motivation since 2017. Thank you for being such an inspirational creator in this platform ❤️ thank you ruby
Impressive discipline but let me sar you a piece of advice, you should not study so many hours for several reasons, firstly because it is proven not effective for learning and secondly because it is detrimental to your mental and physical health and will lead you to burnout, look at Ruby, she does not study twelve hours unless it is special cases, her life is rich and she also takes care of her physical and mental health, she exercises, walks, does skincare, eats enough and well and finds time to do the things she likes besides being consistent with studying, you can't do all this by studying 12 hours a day
The way you are able to stick to so many habits even after a long day of studying is very impressive. I'm nowhere near as disciplined! But thank you for the idea to integrate dissertation work, even if it's just for 5-10 minutes, into your routine. The enormity of the task makes me procrastinate and i flinch when i even think about it :(
Watching your videos gives me an amount of motivation and energy that makes me able to go ahead with my studies even when I'm too demotivated or tired. I could watch your videos again and again just to catch that sparkle I need to go ahead and study even more, until you release a new one, which is always a blessing. Thank you
Hi. I just wanted to say thank you as i am a year 8 and before i started watching you a found my self not being able to keep concentration for more than 10 minutes , however since then i have progressed and can easily do 2-3 hours and can now read properly in whit h before i had to use coloured overlays , i know that no one will probably see this but i just wanted to say thank. I love these Oxford videos you’re doing! I’m actually an American studying for my bachelors in teaching social studies (what the US calls humanities) and English and have considered teaching in the UK and am looking for post-secondary courses in the UK for training and licensure. I love seeing these UK college experiences on my favorite cottagecore channel! Lots of love from the US, Ruby!

Thank you for these videos. They are so relaxing. I live in America now but I lived in Europe for 13 years and miss it so much. I know you are in England, but this is still so nostalgic for me as I spent a lot of time in England. Appreciate your aesthetic and wonderful outlook on life! 🌸
Ruby, you are quite good at set shifting and I am not at all. You are able to jump from thing to thing for short periods of time, whereas I need extended periods of time with deep concentration. You are obviously an excellent learner and I find it interesting what works for different people. I have a doctorate degree so have been successful academically as well. I absolutely love your videos and thank you so much for sharing your Oxford experience with us.
I agree, having so much little tasks every evening would be both intimidating and distracting for me. I prefer focus on one thing at a time for at least an hour. I always found it bizarre how Ruby is able to read while brushing her teeth. Don't get me wrong, i LOVE reading and I don't have to push myself to read at all, but reading for 2-3 minutes and then going back to washing my face feels like absolute torture
Thanks Ruby. You really help me in my legal practice. I use a commonplace book to brief new jurisprudence. I find this technique helps distill very complex legal matters and provides inspiration when I write opinion.

I have really been loving Sukin’s skincare products. I go for their green label. I always had a hard time with moisturizers too. I find that less is more with my skin so I use maybe half a pump at a time. Love your nighttime routines, they are how I found your channel awhile back! 😴🌌🌛

French products are the best when it comes to skincare, especially if they are made with thermal water: Uriage, Avene, La Roche-Posay, Bioderma are some of the most known brands and with the most efficient ingredients based on your skin type.
Since you like Greek tragedies I just wanted to let you know that in Siracusa(Sicily) a festival of the Greek tragedy is yearly held in May. Basically it's about going to the performances in the Greek theatre in the city but I don't actually know if they have any other related actiivities. Sicily is full of Greek theatres by the way( there's even one in Taormina). I've also noticed you started Latin. It's good considering that not so many british people study ancient languages. Good luck with everything!
i’ve used the original nivea moisturiser for years now and i really recommend (especially if you have sensitive skin like mine) it’s super hydrating and a perfect everyday staple!
