Haunted Mansion Gargoyle DIY Build

- Semi intense gargoyle ~ grotesque build, life sized as seen in the Haunted Mansion stretching portrait room. You'll need to be able to construct a wooden base using power tools (be careful) use of paper mache, use a heat gun (again, be careful), sanding, soldering, painting, and a wee bit of artistic talent. This was fun to make but it can't really be done in a day, so enjoy the journey. Enjoy my Foolish Mortals.

Those look great! I especially like the paint on them! What was the lovely gold paint that you used? Also wondering why you choose to not sculpt these from clay and hollowed out the inside to accept electrical stuff through them? Perhaps no access to a kiln to fire clay in your area? Or would they have been too heavy for where you wanted to have them mounted? Thank you for sharing! Subscribed! :)
Thanks for your comment 👍. I used acrylic paint, for the gold. I wished I could’ve used clay, we were looking to lessen the weight factor when it hangs. Wished I even knew how to mold these guys 😂👍👍
