I disagree. I am 46, I got type B and it is killing me. It’s been going on for 2 weeks and I am still feeling miserable

I'm sorry to hear that you're going through such a difficult time with Influenza B. It's important to note that the severity of influenza can vary from person to person, and both Influenza A and B can cause serious illness. The nurse's statement about Influenza A being typically more severe is a general trend, but it doesn't mean that Influenza B can't be severe as well.
im 15 with type A, I got it from my grandma who was in the hospital and she sadly passed away. my whole family has it and it’s even worse then covid if im being honest. I hope for everyone who has it to get better soon❤️
Get everyone to take vit d next time. It helps. You burn through it during a viral infection
30 years old with type B and feel like freaking death warmed over. Ive never been this sick. Tested positive for strep on monday and still have strep plus the flu now. Type B aint no joke!
i got type A, i feel like fainting at every waking moment, my shoulders are pretty much done at this point since i haven’t moved from my bed, whenever i close my eyes i feel as if though the whole room is moving (imagine being in a roller coaster but sideways), cant balance while walking, shortness of breath, yellow vision , no taste ,i vomited 3 times today and i prob slept for 4 hours ( i couldn’t sleep till 5am) this is is MUCH worse than covid! hopefully youtube doesn’t censor this comment
and forgot to mention coughing 1am-5am straight non stop and high fever

Nah bc why am I practically dying as a 16 yr old with type B right now. I don’t even want to imagine type A then.
I was vommiting and coughing so bad I couldn’t breath and started dry heaving and I went to the hospital I have the A type influenza and they gave me a inhaler
I have type B and I’m struggling. It terrified me to think this is the lesser of 2 evils. 😢
I’m 60 years old and I’ve got flu B and it’s awful but thank you for explaining it to me .

My daughter’s pediatrician just told me the exact opposite information. Flu B is far worse which is what they have.

Jesuuus! I been in bed rest since Friday feeling like I’m dying, chills, and all of the above body aches! Now I’m sitting on the Throne in my restroom on day 4 with diarrhea, I just want to get this baby demon out of me…🤒😫😫

I tried type A and it sucks. 100 percent would NOT recommend. I’m leaving a terrible review.
