It seems like G-Shock is trying to test the waters by releasing a new design entirely rather than sticking to their regular strategy of holding collaborations for existing models. Excited to see what's on the pipeline!
I love the rainbows so much! They're jusy so expensive 😭 i need to just paint my own. Also, MIP has ruined me when it comes to squares. Fingers crossed they release a pink/magenta gbx-100 some day.
The manga inspired watches are amazing. The effect looks great plus the indices seem like they're more legible than on many other GA-2100s. I also appreciate the gray Beach Time Casioak for having indices that pop more even if orange is really not my color. The Rainbow MTG is up my alley and I like its colors more than some others in that vein, but one thing gives me pause: The strap looks a bit too sedate. I know they tried a rainbow starscape pattern, but from pictures it looks a bit too close to all black. IMO, if you go rainbow you might as well just go all in because you said goodbye to subtlety a long time ago. That said, there's a good chance it will manage to win me over in person despite already having an MTG-3000. Those indices and dials look amazing to me.
I did check and despite what you said G-5600BG-1 doesn't seem to appear on any G-Shock website outside Japan. I imported one. The strap in particular is very comfortable. It reminds me of the GW-5000 strap.
Love the new MTG Diffuse Nebula! If it looks that good from screenshots, it’s going to look so much better in person. That will be added to my other MTG watches.

I wonder what Casio will do for their 100th anniversary, its only 22 years away!

Somehow, the MTG Diffuse Nebula's mix of colours draw me in. I cannot see myself wearing a watch as flamboyant as that, but you got to appreciate the brand's boldness to create something like that.
The more I see the GA-2300, the more I like it, especially with the high contrast of the orange hands and black dial, which both work so well with the grey case and strap. Might be a little small, but certainly worth a second look.
I already have the G5600BG, and this is one not to miss! The resin strap on the G5600BG is as soft and supple as the premium straps on the GW5000 and the GMWB5000 models! Do yourself a favor and don't miss this one!

gshock is like a cool club. just tonight i was 89 cents short on something but i had seen the guys wonderful mudmaster and said 'gshock baby' while flashing my puny gas100. he said 'i got some extra money from someone probably, youre good.' i swear, if i were made of money id have a museum just for knives and gshocks.

I’m glad I have two arms because I can’t seperate the GA-2300-7A from the GA-2300-1A. It’s a sort of Yin Yang thing.
