Starsector 0.97a - 5 Onslaught (XIV) vs. 5 Hegemony Inspection Fleets

- Not even the best Hegemony fleets can survive against their own battleships! As luck would have it, fellow pirate raiders distracted both the staging station and the typical patrols, allowing me to battle against 5 of the 6 Hegemony Inspection Fleets at once. Since my whole fleet was not fully equipped for such a drawn-out fight, one full retreat was needed to recover PPT - worth even losing one of the Onslaughts in the process!
Pure vanilla gameplay; no mods were used.

Hepahaestus assault gun is now beast! I love that it got buffed alongside with Mjolnir finally these guns are usable.
I play 096 and the Mjolnir works like a charm. Buffed in 097, you say? Oh, yeah!
Third battle admiral be like: "Dammit, all we have left as combat-ready ship is a Heron... And they still have four onslaughts. No matter, send in the IEDs!"

Dang, I really need to learn how to do combat like this
The secret ingredient is a shuttle with the command center modification. You see it being put at the corner of the map at the start. With that and skills you regenerate command points really fast, ensuring you're never too short on them to give orders during battle.
Then it's mostly keeping a battle line with your capitals and microing the frigates against the enemies that attack from the back or against the enemy capitals to duel them at an advantage.

Proximity mines are still good after the nurf? No expanded missile racks
