In this Vidped, Lovish Raheja, a scholar from IITB-Monash Research Academy, explains his journey from schooling in the small town of Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, to getting into one of the most prestigious joint doctoral programs in the country.
He explains how his curiosity, time-consciousness and diversification of academic and co-curricular experiences helped him not only secure a reputable fellowship but also positions of responsibility in the domain of sustainability, science policy and youth mobilisation at global platforms such as the executive board member at the International Younger Chemists Network, Coordination member at the Chemicals and Waste Youth Platform of UNEP-MGCY, Organising Member of Local Conference of Youth 2022, 2023, and 2024.
e has also served as an invited speaker at various conferences and webinars of international repute.
He continues his journey in the sustainability domain with an ambition to significantly contribute to the solutions to the critical current world challenges. He also highlights how youth should engage to be a part of the solution in this context.
